Guest guest
My experience is similar to Harold's--flown more than a dozen times. They wand and pat you down. My advice to speed things along is to make it easy for them. Take off all other metal objects (watches, jewelry, etc) before you walk through the metal detector. When it goes off simply inform the attendant that you have a fake hip. They'll send you off to the side to get wanded. Rarely takes more than a couple of minutes. > > They don't ask to see your scar.I've been through security probably 12 times > since my first replacement.always been wanded and patted down.they aren't > that ridiculous to ask to see your scar.at least not with me in Orlando, > Washington National, BWI, Newark, Asheville, NC, Chicago, Charlotte, Seatte, > etc. the places I've been.
