Guest guest
Cheryl, Why did he do the CPK test? Do you have muscle and/or chest pain? Are you taking any drugs that could be responsible for the elevation (statins or aspirin, for example)? Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
, My doctor requested the bloodwork done since I have had a lot of problems with pain over time that has been getting worse and not only in joint areas. I recently started taking a statin for high cholesterol but I have had problems with pain much longer than I have been taking the med. I guess though it could influence the results. I will bring it up to my rheumy though. Thanks. Cheryl --- In , " " <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: > > Cheryl, > > > Why did he do the CPK test? Do you have muscle and/or chest pain? Guest guest
I've only had Xolair for almost a month now but no side effects other than feeling drowsy a little after the 1st injection! Doug, the founder of this group, has been on Xolair for many years. He would be more informative to answering that question. Of course,it raises concerns for me as well as I've just started xolair! However, I received 3 weeks of relief so far, so I'm HAPPY!! My next injections are Monday and I'm hiving and swelling right now... I can't wait to for Monday to get here! Did you take Xolair for asthma or for Urticaria? If you took it for Urticaria, did you come out of remission? (did you start to break out again) and if so, what are your treatments now that Xolair has been discontinued? Wishing you the best, In a message dated 3/10/2011 9:01:29 P.M.
