Guest guest
And doesn't " antibacterial ointment " also do that? Dr. Oz also pushes flu vaccines and all kinds of other crap. He just tries to appease the masses with his " alternative " approaches. He's completely clueless and a pharma shill. Guest guest
YES! I just used this on my daughter and it worked great! :-) Cheers, On Aug 11, 2011, at 8:15 AM, Dolores wrote: > Hi , > > I pretty much agree with that one :-) The one thing I've found HP most useful for, though, is ear wax. Guest guest
Estelle, This makes no sense whatsoever. I have heard doctors say not to put hp on cuts because the peroxide is too caustic and can harm healthy cells as well as germs. I've used peroxide on cuts for years with no problems whatsoever. Bob Re: One minute cure (was something about Mercola) Hi Peggy; With regard to a critique of the One Minute Cure, hydrogen peroxide isn't a one-minute cure. Although a technical writer might word it like that, a bio-oxidative therapist would not. I'm an ozone therapist and I think it's a gross overstatement, probably designed to be controversial by that means. Hydrogen peroxide is useful for increasing blood oxygen; we suggest ramping up to around 15 drops of 35% food grade in a glass of water only on an empty stomach if the client doesn't have access to an ozone machine. Ozonated water is much more powerful. There might be more on peroxide in the Story Of Ozone, which details the ozone information: http://www.o3center.org/Articles/TheStoryofOzone.html all good, Duncan > > I'm new to this, but I have to put in a word for Dr. Mercola. Guest guest
Dr.Oz stated that hydroge peroxide fizzes on broken skin. Not a bacterial killing reaction but because inside of our bodies in anaerobic, so it does little good on open wounds. Guest guest
What I was told about Hydrogen peroxide is that you use it to first clean a wound, after that no more because it breaks down the good skin as well as the damaged, meaning if you use it more than once or twice you slow healing. laura c ________________________________ From: Dolores <dgk@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Thu, August 11, 2011 11:45:16 PM Subject: Re: Dr. Oz on hydrogen peroxide Yes, he said that too, but how does that translate into " the hydrogen peroxide is dirty " ? But he did also say that " you should not do it because the Hydrogen Peroxide kills bacteria along with your own healthy cells. " (end of first paragraph) And if you combine that sentence with the one you stated below, it doesn't make any sense at all because they seem completely contradictory. Guest guest
Hi Dee, If I hadn't heard the word dirty, I wouldn't have gotten so upset. But I'm an old woman, I could have misheard. I sure hope I did, because I use it all the time for many things, including cut fingers. I kind of lost a little faith in Dr. Oz after that, but I do keep watching because I pick up a few tidbits here and there. Thanks for the feedback. I feel better now. ________________________________ From: Dolores <dgk@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2011 11:00 AM Subject: Re: Dr. Oz on hydrogen peroxide Alobar, Did Dr. Oz say you shouldn't put it on the wound because the hydrogen peroxide is dirty? Guest guest
Not just heat while working, Dee. I do not have any air conditioning. No idea what the heat index might be in here, but the room temp in 90F at 6:25 in the evening. I drink lots of water & spray myself with ice water, then lay down front ofo my fan so it evaporates and cols me down some. It's been horrible lately and I know you have to be outside when working. No way I could do anything like that this summer! Don't forget enough water and enough sea salt. I wish I knew what else you could do. > > Do Take Care, > Dee >
