Last week Dr. Oz said on tv that you should never put hydrogen peroxide on a

fresh cut because it is dirty.  Does this make sense to anybody?

Mercola)

Hi Peggy;

With regard to a critique of the One Minute Cure, hydrogen peroxide isn't a

one-minute cure. Although a technical writer might word it like that, a

bio-oxidative therapist would not. I'm an ozone therapist and I think it's a

gross overstatement, probably designed to be controversial by that means.

Hydrogen peroxide is useful for increasing blood oxygen; we suggest ramping up

to around 15 drops of 35% food grade in a glass of water only on an empty

stomach if the client doesn't have access to an ozone machine. Ozonated water is

much more powerful.

There might be more on peroxide in the Story Of Ozone, which details the ozone

information:

all good,

Duncan

have knowledge about this.  I think it also had alot to do with my health

improvements but she said it can damage the esophagus. If anyone has knowledge

relating with this I would love to hear it!

Hi Estelle,

Not that I'm a Dr. Oz fan or anything, but are you sure you heard that right?

Unless he has changed it, here is what I was able to find out about his opinion

on the subject:

Alobar,

Did Dr. Oz say you shouldn't put it on the wound because the hydrogen peroxide

is dirty? It would seem to me that is what Estelle found not to make sense -

which it doesn't. The problem, according to Dr. Oz, is that it kills the good

bacteria as well as the bad. Did you interpret it some other way?

Hi ,

I pretty much agree with that one :-) The one thing I've found HP most useful

for, though, is ear wax. Works great for that.

Yes, he said that too, but how does that translate into " the hydrogen peroxide

is dirty " ?

But he did also say that " you should not do it because the Hydrogen Peroxide

kills bacteria along with your own healthy cells. " (end of first paragraph)

And if you combine that sentence with the one you stated below, it doesn't make

any sense at all because they seem completely contradictory.

You can also use ozone salve, which is much less corrosive and better tolerated

than peroxide, and it stays on a wound very well, cleaning and oxygenating the

area. Often only a single application is required and of course it kills even

drug-resistant bacteria.

all good,

Duncan

Thanks Alobar, but sorry you are not feeling like your usual self lately! Could

it be the heat? It's been horrible lately and I know you have to be outside when

working. No way I could do anything like that this summer! Don't forget enough

water and enough sea salt. I wish I knew what else you could do.

Do Take Care,
