Guest guest
Hi - it's me again! I have received some information from some of you and I really appreciate it. I'm looking for a place to live that has good programs for my son who has HFA/hyperlexia 4.8 (and my NT daughter who just turned 3). My husband will be working in Streetsboro so that is around where we will need to be. In a nutshell, this is what I've received so far: Hudson - good schools/programs Kent - good schools/programs Field - AVOID! I've heard that summit county is good and more affordable than cuyahoga county. I'm curious if anyone knows about the other areas: Stow, Twinsburg, etc. Also, if we move to an area we like but the schools aren't up to par, are there any private programs available in the area that any of you would recommend? Right now all we have is special education preschool which is 2-3 hours a day, four days a week; 20 minutes group speech a week; 20 minutes indv speech a week. The actual preschool has nice teacher/aides BUT not getting what he needs. We have had no other therapy even though recommended by UCLA. This is the main reason we are moving: so I don't have to work and therefore I can spend more time working with him and getting him what he needs. So, if you can provide me with anything more, I'd really appreciate it. Becky Wulfeck rwulfe@... Why Wait? Move to EarthLink.
