Guest guest
I just joined this group; my name is Leah, and I'm a mother of a 5 year old boy and live in NorCal. Love coconut oil and am just discovering all of the many varied uses for it. I just wanted to comment on the poison ivy discussion and the suggestion to rub it with the inside of a banana peel. I have had a strange itchy rash on the back of my neck for several months and tried everything. I saw this about the banana peel and *ran* to the kitchen to get one. It's icky, because the rash is in two small places inside my hairline at the top of my neck, but I couldn't believe it worked. Tingly, a little itchy, and then nothing. For hours. Amazing. I applied it three times total yesterday and once today and I haven't itched at all. I might apply it one more time for good measure before I wash my hair, but it looks to be cured! So excited, and thanks for that sage advice! Leah
