From one study I have seen it reported that excess lauric acid intake is

deposited in the body as fat. .  Dr. Newport's report that coconut oil sustains

higher level of ketones in the blood for a longer time seems to indicate that

this deposited lauric acid may have high priority of use in times of need. I

hope a study is done on this.
