Guest guest
I would say to go ahead and add probiotics, (I myself wouldn’t go without probiotics) Yearsa past I had candida, didn’t know that, except bloating and headaches and tired, kind a like now, except I think mine is more hormones now, but I ended up with rash on my midriff and legs, not bad, but I went to natural path and he had me do the renew life Candia cleanse 3 times in a row. I have stayed on probiotics and think they have helped me. I do not crave sugar or breads like I used to then, but fats instead. And for parasites I buy Artemisia combination, I take a few times a year, and I give them to my dogs a week each month, that and black walnut and their HS2, in place of toxic heart wormers. My dogs are large dogs, 70-98lbs. They take 2 in the morning of Artemisia, and one HS2 only two of the days that week, and at night one Artemisia with one black walnut,( find this dosage and plan on a natural vet site) and it’s been about 3 years and they went to the vet and had blood work with no heart worms. My husband was taking them one time when we thought he had parasites, as his side was hurting and skin burning, (it was also shingles ) so I had him take L-Lysine and high dosages of V-C powder, but I already had him on Artemisia, and the V-C had him really going to the bathroom, as he don’t have any problem with that anyway, unlike me. And he could actually see parasites in the toilet. He got on line to see if he could find a picture like them to see what kind they were, they were nematodes, (there are many different kinds) his looked like miniature white porky pines fuzzy cotton like things. I’m so glad he saw them, as he complains about me giving him all the stuff I do. If you want to try some and are not signed up on Natures sunshine all you have to do is order $40.00 worth under someone’s number. You are not obligated to ever buy again. I just buy once in a while, don’t have anyone under me anymore, don’t do it for money, but to get the stuff that I like for a better price. I like liquid ALJ, for allergy season. I also love liquid hawthorn and liq. Echinacea golden seal combination, seems better than others I’ve tried,, though pricey. JPX is good one for bladder and kidney detox and strengthen. If you ever know anyone with bladder infection, 3, 3x a day work nicely. Several years ago I was under a natural path and took a certified herbalist course under him, and earned a trip for a weekend to salt lake for NSS convention, lots of doctors there, classes to go to, etc.. and a tour of NSS plant. The have over a million dollar’s in testing equipment for the herbs they buy. The herbs growers bring them in in large barrels, and they test them before they will buy, if they are not up to to[p standards they reject them, even if that means they cant sell some of their products until more herbs come in. The growers will sell the herbs to someone else who do not have the testing equipment. So I do believe they do have top quality herbs. But a high price too, so I don’t buy all my supplements from them. If you are interested you can go on line and look first, can call them if you want to become a member. I know some people who have the water alkalizes, I drank some of their water for a few months at one time, I thought it was good, but didn’t notice anything much. I have a Nikkin aqua pour I drink my water from it. I have read on Dr. Mercola and Dr. Wheelers write-ups that alkalizes should only be used for short periods, not every day all the time. What they had to say was interesting, and I had thought the same thing about the water structure being altered and drinking it for all the time. Not that I know it all, as I sure don’t. I may get some water from my friend though and try it again for a while. I seem to crave the healthy fats, and dark chocolate at times. I have made some with coconut oil and raw cocoa powder, stevia, or mesquite, or Xylitol. If I buy chocolate I have got organic 85 %, so there is little sugar. And the 5 lbs, some is bloating, and then I also have had another problem for years, my legs swell, I’m a hairstylist “27 yearsâ€, standing a lot or like today, (I’m off work) but sitting at the computer will do it too. Circulation. I have spider veins too. Have wondered if the veins inside my inner legs swell and ach, so it causes the rest of the problems. I take herbs for that too. I change off and on. I do squats and lunges and walk up hills, so my muscles get pumped too, but even on the days I don’t workout, they still swell. This morning I had another pound, now I have 6lbs to lose. So I was not happy. I’m in sweats today feel just fine, but going to work tomorrow I’ll be in my pants. You understand I know. Have a great week! Some people don't think 5lbs is a big deal, but for me it is a matter of fitting my pants. And I'm not buying bigger clothes. Thanks for any wisdom sent my way. Anyway I thought I'd try these probiotics again. I just bought more and started them this time I'm taking one at night and in the morning, this time. Here's a link where you can get them the best price I've found. http://www.probiotics12plus.com/discountCapsules.htm 2 boxes of 120 cap. $63.00 and free shipping.>> Thank you for your sharing your experience with Dr. Ohhira's. I have been wondering if I should just approach my health from the probiotic standpoint. I am starting to make kefir and kombucha and was wondering if I could also help by adding a good probiotic when I learned about these. I just wonder if I would get them, if it would help. Or if it is possible to over-do it. I do not have named health issues as people are familiar with, but I am trying to kick parasites and have only gotten so far in my three-year journey at this. I hope some others also reply with experience with these. I have just heard so much and used so many junk products in my journey that I do not want to make another costly mistake. As for your own health situation, I totally understand the 5 lb fear you have. My thots are, the next thing you could look into is alkalized water. I am not heavy by any stretch of anyone's imagination, but my journey started with this and a clean diet; and many things cleared up for me, including losing 5 lbs that I didn't know I had to lose. It was really nice. That was over two years ago and it is still gone. There are the alkalizer machines and I've also learned that there are additives that are made to add to water to make it alkaline, too. You want a machine that alkalizes to at least 7.0 pH. I say this because personally don't see how any lower alkalinity could have the most positive health effect and produce the believer out of you. I will always sing the praises of alkalized water. knowthecause.com supports and interview a company that sells alkalizing drops for water, but I have not tried these since I bought a machine. I'm no expert on fats, but I don't think the fats you eat are hurting you. They are healthy fats. I eat quite alot of fat myself. Healthy fats. Something else is going awry and alkalized water will help by detoxifying your system everywhere that water goes when you drink it.
Guest guest
WOW, you are working hard! I hope you hit a break through on something soon. When you said about your " sedentary " postures for the day, I thought of mentioning exercise, but you already do that. I know hair dressers have trouble with carpal tunnel, too. So guard against that. Work your hands and wrists and elbows with some soup cans. My heart goes out to you!! Just keep on the road you are on. Something's gotta give for you sooner or later. As for the water, I will add that I was drinking a gallon/day. My weight at the time was 114 lbs, so that was more than my body weight in ounces. I started out drinking 6.0 water and worked up to 7.0 within a month. I saw rapid improvement in my health condition with this water at this rate--within the first week in fact. I was very encouraged by this simple healer. I drank that much without fail for about a year, though I knew by probably 8 or ten months that it had taken me as far as it was going to take me, so it is not a cure-all. But it definitely had its place for me. I have gotten past the sugar cravings for quite a bit of the last three years now. The alkalized water that I started on helped me pass quite a bit of this and other health mountains that I had when I started doctoring myself. The parasites I am left with don't need sugar. They are very happy to eat anything I eat. These are a different breed. Two different kind are left. I have " movers " in my colon and " twitchers " throughout my body. I know there are many different kind to choose from. I have passed many different kind. The reason I wonder if I should take probiotics is I do not have bowel dysbiosis that I know of. My bowels move every day and often more than once a day. I also don't have any pain or discomfort there. Just the sensation of them in there and they eat most of it. But what I move is solid. Thankfully and amazingly they have not done any damage to my colon after all this time. So I don't know if I might go overboard if I go beyond kefir and kombucha. I really don't know much about the gut yet. I don't know what your abbreviations mean, so you can reply back about those. I will look into Artimisia. I need something nasty to them that won't be nasty to me, so I will look into Artimisia and NSS. ________________________________ From: llje <llje@...> I would say to go ahead and add probiotics, (I myself wouldn’t go without probiotics) Yearsa past I had candida, didn’t know that, except bloating and headaches and tired, kind a like now, except I think mine is more hormones now, but I ended up with rash on my midriff and legs, not bad, but I went to natural path and he had me do the renew life Candia cleanse 3 times in a row. Guest guest
The abbreviations for JPX, is it’s name, it’s a product, NSS is (Nature’s sunshine). The time my husband saw the parasites he was not taking the Artemisia herbs like directions, he took 3 at bed time. And they worked for him. When I take them I do two in the morning and two at night. ( but I don’t thinking I’ve had a problem with parasites that I can tell. Just do it to keep from it. They also have a paw paw parasite pack you might read about. I think that when I have overdone it, or I should say taken probiotics and or other things fast and not gradual, I notice bloating. Dr. Mercola’s probiotics are 66 billion which sounds like a lot, but most are too low to do enough. Garden of life primal defense seems ok, I give my dogs one every morning. I take them once in a while. I have Mercola’s and these right now. http://www.probiotics12plus.com/discountCapsules.htm How did you figure out you had the parasites? I see you said you can feel them…where do you think you got them? I had carpel tunnel in the past, my fingers and wrist used to hurt bad. I prayed for them, and someone else did, and several months later the pain left, now years later I’m still good. I do hair 4 days a week. But I’m always busy doing something if not at work. Trying to learn how to rest, as when I’m home there’s always stuff to be done, so for rest, that’s been when I’m on the computer. My birthday is coming up soon, falls on a Saturday, I’m taking off and we are going to go do something away from everything. Just feel like I need a break…Trying to figure that out now. Guest guest
I think the 10 grams of FOS in Pharmax HLC synbiotic intensive will be doing the " heavy lifting " . Bifidobacteria easily outpower the lactobacilli in the blend, but there are only 2 kinds of bifidobacteria in it. If you look at the graph of many research papers on my inulin page, you'll see that in the elderly bowel lactobacilli numbers are generally high and so are pathogens, meaning they aren't working as well as one would like, but even small fluctuations in bifidobacteria numbers bring large numeric changes to the pathogens and lactobacilli as well: http://tinyurl.com/inulins So the object is to primarily increase bifidobacteria, especially in older adults, and since bifidobacteria flourish faster on FOS than lactobacilli do, I think the 50% FOS in the blend will be producing the heavy lifting, and more from the existing probiotic cultures in the gut than from the probiotics in the capsule. all good, Duncan > > > > Dr. Mercola’s probiotics are 66 billion which sounds like a lot, but > > most are too low to do enough.
