Guest guest
Oh also I should say that im intolerant to grains, burns mouth and hours of palpitations and arrhythmias and weak. All of them, as if I can't break something down in them.. Plus few years of loose wet mush stools every morning. Plus, I'm a post benzo user, long term use (thanks to doctors) having fibpnally quit for that last time about 17 months ago. I doing seem to have much left for withdrawals but I am sensitive.. And just these growing allergic like reactions. You know I did go on bee's diet in April, but can't tolerate vitamins like meds I seem to react to all now Especially b vits makes me wired nervous and panicked, racing heart. But I was basically on her diet out of necessity, I just stopped the fruits I had some how introduced for a year. Now when I try a piece of fruit again, I get the old sx from years ago, dizzy stoned and agitated. She says the itching is my body detoxing through the skin. I believe that bc when I shower itch will erupt out of it and then as I stay in the hot water, it somewhat passes. I only met one other person who has had terrible itching since on the diet of meat, fats, veggies, and evco. Thanks, of all things I've tried, nothing has ever made a difference yet. Guest guest
Tina have you considered the value of a diagnosis? " Fruit sugars make my head dizzy, heart race, palpitation and itch, " Sounds like mounting toxin load, probably due to dysbiosis and candida, but without a diagnosis all you can do is adopt the most beneficial diet, which would be a low-carb one with a few supplements as a basic. Certainly, 1/4 tbsp of VCO shouldn't trigger anything, not even die-off. I doubt anyone on-list will diagnose you by email. all good, Duncan > > Duncan and others, perhaps you could help.. > I am very worried about my worsening symptoms. > It feels allergic, but then not.. > When I eat, most foods now, I get this unsettled feeling asap, then I feel a deep agitation like acidic, then I start to feel pick itches here and there, and then I feel almost catatonic, as if whatever my body is releasing in my blood stream is poisoning me, my head starts to pound and my neck gets stiff. One thing I can think of to try would be a lot of activated charcoal/healing clay slurries. the clay/charcoal will ab/adsorb all kind of toxins directly from the body/blood and start healing the colon, and should dramatically reduce the workload on your liver. I'd also start drinking a lot of lemon water, and start taking some of Dr Schulze's liver/kidney detox/cleansing/strengthening tonics. Guest guest
That's just it, I've tried so many docs to get a diagnosis,to be told it's in my head, or they can't help... and seen some alternative practitioners and none of them could give clear directions to what I should do. I did homeopathic for 1.5 yrs to no avil 75 remedies later.. I do not take any meds or bad food for so many years, so I can't figure where the toxins are coming from. A diagnosis is what I want, if you can lead me to the right places.. I started out looking but of course three years ago, my sx were much differebpnt, nausea all the time and severe burning mouth And some body itching, redness burning, but once I stopped grains that seemed to settle, but burning mouth for two years and still if I go back to those foods. But it seems to bed right in my nerves. The itch sting that erupts. Thanks for any guidance, Tina > > > > Duncan and others, perhaps you could help.. Guest guest
Is it generally ok then to take inulin if one has candida? I'm only guessing that I do from ongoing sx and food problems. Of course as you know bee does not recommend this, but wondering what you position is as I understand it's sort of a type of sugar? Guest guest
Tina, the lack of high-inulin food in the diet plus sometimes a triggering factor such as an antibiotic program is what gives rise to bowel candida, which is a natural part of bowel dysbiosis, so natural that many practitioners and doctors assume there is candida involvement unless it's properly ruled out. Inulin has been used for thousands of years for bowel malaise and it can figure prominently in the cure. Candida doesn't thrive once the bifidobacteria numbers are back up, and inulin and FOS are prebiotic, good feed for bifidobacteria. Each prebiotic can be utilised to varying degrees by varying organisms, and inulin is more resistant to being used by candida than the others because candida does not exude the specific enzyme needed to break it down. Trouble is that only inulin in its most natural native form containing 10% sugar is available at retail. We had such good results with zero sugar long-chain inulin it was marvelous, but even with native inulin, in the natural environment of the bowel the bifidobacteria will nonetheless reassert itself as dominant in a few to several weeks. It takes longer than that for them to outcompete in well-occupied niches on the bowel lining though. An anti-candida diet can include high-inulin foods as staples and/or adding powdered inulin to the chop. Many people did better in three months using inulin than even in 2 years on Bee's diet that doesn't allow it. It wasn't I who coined the phrase inulin, whey, selenium protocol because there's more to it of course and I'm more wordy than brief, but the person was right, these three basics are undeniably useful for about everyone, key even to some, and useful even to most people with bowel candida/dysbiosis. That said, a few people with a strange dysbiosis with seemingly a lot of upper GI tract involvement did not respond. all good, Duncan > > Is it generally ok then to take inulin if one has candida? Guest guest
Oh thanks Duncan for that. Do you think benefiber is adequate/good source? If not, can you recommend? It's probably been done before, but do you know a good dairy free probiotic with out fos? There are so many strains and I'd like to work specifically to restore bowel balance and this loose stool I've had for years now, and eliminate leaky gut and allergies. I have read there are types for these specific purposes but do not know which are best or which companies use them. I did just read an article where the gastro warned that inulin can also feed bad bacteria so he said it was contraindicated where there were food intolrances, this worries me but I don't have enough experience with it and I suspect you do. Thanks very much, Tina > > > > Is it generally ok then to take inulin if one has candida? Guest guest
Tina, I would suggest you get tested for parasites. Many of your symptoms seems similar than mine. You should look for a good naturopathic doctor who has experience about parasite-testing and different treatments. The normal hospital tests for parasites are around 5-10 % accurate only, so look for a specialist clinic and a doctor who does understand the issue with parasites and doesn't tell that " It is all in your head " ... ________________________________ From: kairaepery <kairaepery@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Wednesday, September 28, 2011 10:42 PM Subject: Re: Picky itching  Oh also I should say that im intolerant to grains, burns mouth and hours of palpitations and arrhythmias and weak. Guest guest
Hi Duncan, Thank you for all this useful info, I am hoping the MCT oil with caprylic acid will help with my candida as well. I havent really had the results with inulin, but maybe I didnt give it enough time. I was looking through your website with the link you gave to someone else. I saw the colloidal silver post, I am wondering if you cant make that (I am hopeless at that sort of thing) could you recommend a good CS maker? Have u heard of the RSG-3? Or is Silver Puppy better? I think that should help with candida problems too. Also I read recently of a 'flush' with bentonite clay and psyllium helping to clear the bowel dysbiosis problems. Obviously you would have to follow the diet plan as well. Do you know where I could get good quality bentonite clay? I do have some Argital Green Clay (for internal use) which I havent used yet, I wonder if that would work the same? Guest guest
Maybe you can send me a private msg and tell me your symptoms? Since I've been ill fog 3 hrs, I did in that first year do very test I could find.. Nothing ever really conclusive came up. I was treated for parasites in a few different ways, to no avail. How were you tested/where, and how were you treated? Did you get better? Tina > > > > Duncan and others, perhaps you could help.. Then I get this sort of weak tickle catatonic sensation in all my body, as if I can't even more from the inner poison which feels both acidic and itchy, and then some burning picky on ski starts, diffusely on forearms, ears, shoulders pick itch etc. > > Sometimes my heart will get PVCs and it's just hell. > > It started happening the more Id take evco. I've retried foods but I just can't touch so many now eggs, pork, turkey tuna, salmon, some veggies and duck as of yesterday, which really scares me, bc I also get strong reactions to dairy and haven't had this for years now, and now react to goat dairy. > > Usually it goes away as I sleep and the next day I just hope it doesn't happen again. > > Today, I am having. It feels impossible to be truly allergic to these foods, but the retains are very intense and it steals my day as I'm so so irritable, antsy from wanting to jump out of my picky itchy skin and my nerve endings feeling so agitated under my skin, I practically feel ,it release in me as I eat a food that is making me react like the duck yesterday....I've eaten it for two years with no problem, now this. > > Problem is the reaction is happening fast, more food every week that I react to. > > I am the onemwho also has Gilberts, whether related or not. > > > > Someone from the group asked me to post, so I am. > > I'm so at a loss, my baby girl (7)I'm trying to raise alone and some days I'm really worried how I will survive Esoecially with those reactions happening more and more lately, lasting longer. These sx btw started about two years ago, but whole illness started 3 years ago. I started feeling what I would call acidic searing inside my muscles for about an hour after eating. Then I'd be fine. It grew and grew until it was happening immediately during or after instead of an hour later, and started getting more antsy agonizing feeling inside for longer. Then I'd say after evco, it all got way itchier, and now I get those picky he's and e en some small hives. > > > > If there is anyonw whomhas atrue idea what is happening and can lead me to others who has gone through this, I'd appreciate it. > > I even tried to do genetic testing bc it feels like I'm missing some Kind of co factor or enzyme my body needs to not feel poisoned, but they refused my docs request. > > Thanks very much, > > Scared and not feeling well, > > Tina > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Benefiber is native inulin, yes. I'd choose a probiotic with bifidobacteria in it. PB-8, GR8-dophilus for example. There are three on my inulin references page: http://tinyurl.com/inulins Also on the same page you'll find the chart that analysed long chain inulin vs klebsiella and several other pathogens. It doesn't support them. And, a read of Tungland's Comprehensive Review, also linked from that page, will reveal which organisms are not supported by even native inulin, the form that most of the research used. Don't see how you could correct a dietary inulin deficiency without using inulin and high-inulin foods. Perhaps a couple more years on Bee's diet would do it but I doubt it. all good, Duncan > > Oh thanks Duncan for that. > Thanks very much, > Tina > >
Guest guest
VAL, although inulin makes bifidobacteria more dominant in the gut, it takes many weeks to rout the previous infection and re-establish more and more competitive colonies on the bowel lining. Bacteria are all fighting each other for survival; bifidobacteria and some lactobacilli exude bacteriocins -- specific bactericidal toxins -- to help carve out that niche, in addition to putting out acidic fatty acids that candida can not tolerate. I support the use of clay and psyllium but I disagree that it will " flush " much infection out, as the important part, the pathogenic colonies, are tightly adhering to the bowel lining, and the fecal slurry is temporary anyway. I would buy clay from http://www.greenclays.com/ to help with the toxicity. I've been a member of the silverlist discussion group since 1999 so I'm familiar with the very successful Silver Puppy generator and I know people are happy with it. No, I don't send modified microwave oven colloidal silver makers; that kind of weight is for local pick-up only. all good, Duncan > > Hi Duncan, > > Thank you for all this useful info, I am hoping the MCT oil with caprylic acid will help with my candida as well. Guest guest
Thank you, Tanstaafl, I have e-mailed Eytons Earth to see if they ship to Europe, I'm not sure they do. I might have to just get ordinary bentonite clay in health store here. I have some Nature's Way Activated Charcoal capsules, do you suggest that I take these at the same time I drink the clay mixture? Is that brand ok? I got from iherb, they do good shipping prices. Thanks I hadnt heard of that combination before, and I'm glad because Psyllium husks didnt really do anything for me when I took them a few years ago, if anything I was even more blocked up! Btw, what has worked as a great intestinal cleanser for me, is Cascara Sagrada, which I discovered recently. Guest guest
Just to pick up on this message in case my Message yesterday wasn't seen.. How much inulin, and does benefiber work fine? Which is the best Bifidobacteria to add then to reestablish the colony in the bowels with the inulin? Not just brand but strain/type? Thanks, Tina > > > > Hi Duncan, > > > > Thank you for all this useful info, I am hoping the MCT oil with caprylic acid will help with my candida as well. Guest guest
Tina the daily inulin shortfall is about 12 grams if one eats servings of vegetables, 15 grams if they don't. Benefiber is native inulin. The best bifidobacteria is the correct one for that niche. You don't know which would be best so you take several and hope 2 out of 3 help fill the niche. The inulin does the main work, feeding the starter culture that you already have, which would contain more of the correct bifidobacteria strains for niches on your colon wall. So, if you don't get the result you need in a couple of months with one probiotic, rotate in another one with different strains of bifidobacteria. Or even alternate them. You need a lot of probiotic with the prebiotic to make a difference as a starter culture; VSL#3 has the idea with 450 billion per serving, a pouch equivalent to about 150 capsules of 3 billion. all good, Duncan > > Just to pick up on this message in case my > Message yesterday wasn't seen.. > How much inulin, and does benefiber work fine? > Which is the best Bifidobacteria to add then to reestablish the colony in the bowels with the inulin? Guest guest
Oh thanks.. I also hadn't seen a previous reply thanks for your patience. I thought inulin was different and better than fos, in that fos fed some bad bugs, and inulin didn't feed candida? Which is why I wanted probiotic without fos in case you were wondering. Tina > > > > Just to pick up on this message in case my > > Message yesterday wasn't seen.. > > How much inulin, and does benefiber work fine? > > Which is the best Bifidobacteria to add then to reestablish the colony in the bowels with the inulin? Guest guest
What inulin or FOS will feed depends on whether the organism can break parts of the molecule off with an enzyme. Candida doesn't have the enzyme to break down inulin. Many organisms have been tested on both FOS and inulin as well as several other soluble fibers and prebiotics. FOS feeds bifidobacteria very well but because it has shorter chains it can also be broken down and used by more organisms. Companies put some FOS in probiotics to keep the bifidobacteria alive longer in the digestive tract. all good, Duncan > > > > > > Just to pick up on this message in case my > > > Message yesterday wasn't seen.. > > > How much inulin, and does benefiber work fine? > > > Which is the best Bifidobacteria to add then to reestablish the colony in the bowels with the inulin?
