Guest guest
That sounds really good Chris. Do they require dues to attend the ASA meetings? How absolutely Wonderful that you met up with a high school class mate and even more wonderful that she may have a common bond with you. Tell her about this group if she is in our counties areas it would be nice to have her in our group. ~ n marottafamily@... writes: n - Yes, I went to the Akron ASA meeting. I really enjoyed it. I learned a bit about parent mentoring. I think in the future we will have different topics of discussion which will be very useful, things like treatment options and school issues. Tuesday night, during question and answer, there were a ton of questions on the school and IEPs, probably because of the time of year. I also ran into a high school classmate of mine whose child may have autism! That was nice. There was a good number of people at the meeting, but there also was room for more. Guest guest
n - No dues required to go to the meetings. However, if you want to vote (in about a year), then you have to officially join and pay dues. I'm glad you understood my below comment about my classmate. After I sent it, I thought, "that didn't sound right!!" Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: DMHelmick1@...
