Guest guest
Hey, Bernard, that's pretty interesting about being able to taste MSM if your body requires it. I can't find many " official " references, but there are myriad of others that say that vitamin C taken with MSM increases effectiveness as it is a basic nutrient generally lacking when sulfur is deficient. I think I read that C boosts collagen which is a good thing when MSM is used. Guest guest
You give these recommendations with authority, but we know that there is really no " dose " for MSM. You just take as much as you can get down as long as you have pain. You simply can't take too much except when you start off. Since it frees up heavy metals, too much too soon can literally poison you. Otherwise, take as much as you can. Dissolving it in water or taking it with juice is less direct since you absorb it best when taken directly in the mouth dry, followed by some water, then swished around till the taste is gone. This method assures that you get the most. There is no harm in taking a cup/day if you can get that much down and you might need that much. lifeextensionvitamins.com/msm1.html <http://www.lifeextensionvitamins.com/msm1.html> On Mon, Aug 15, 2011 at 1:49 AM, Cain Ltd <cainltd@... <mailto:cainltd%40nbnet.nb.ca>> wrote: > ** > > > I notice you say you are taking MSM, Then you say you are taking one > heaping > T spoon, Then you mention a scoop. > > You also mention you grind the MSM into a powder and mix it with > something. Guest guest
LOL if that is true that if you can taste it you need it then I must be in a peck of trouble cause that stuff tastes REALLY nasty!! I and my husband are going to give it a try. Thanks, Sylvia On Mon, Aug 15, 2011 at 12:49 AM, Cain Ltd <cainltd@...> wrote: > I notice you say you are taking MSM, Then you say you are taking one > heaping > T spoon, Then you mention a scoop. > > You also mention you grind the MSM into a powder and mix it with > something. Guest guest
Hi Sylvia, Believe it or not, you do get used to it. I could barely stand it at first but now the taste is fairly mild. And you WILL find that your nails grow fast, become very strong and the tips whiten a lot, so the body is making good use of it. Good luck.
