Msm, glycine makes me hyper?

Wondering if this is common, or more common when a person is toxic?

Just started optimsm 1000mg last night and felt buzzy aft and didn't sleep well,

even a bit breathless, as if I had caffeine which I don't tolerate.

This morning, tried glycine only 1/2 dose to start 500mg, and it tasted and

acted just like sugar for me! Bit hyper spiny.

Then ate and took msm 500mg, but again very buzzy tight tongue, weird wired

inside shortly afterwards.

Are these amounts too high to start?

Do these sx go away over time?

Is it a reflection at all of my level of toxicity?

It happened qypuite qypuickly after consuming but here over an hour later still

waiting for that hyper buzz to go away!

I do tend to react to things strongly, as if it goes straight into my

bloodstream!

Can't have sugar, no caffeine, intolerant to most drugs and even supplements,

they all kind of make me feel this way to some extent.

I also may have sensitive gut receptors from many years of benzodiazepine use,

quit 17 months ago.

Thanks for input and personal experiences,

Just wondering if I should try to stay with it, in maybe much lower amounts.

Tina

Ps on a positive, my nose sinus might seem to be draining some mucous?

I know nothing about glycine, so will only comment on the MSM...

Since everyone is different, you may very well be stirring something up

even at those low doses (yes, I consider them very low).

I started right out taking MSM by the Tablespoonful - probably about

7-10GRAMS (that is 7,000 to 10,000 mg) at a time, 3-5 times per day, and

basically had zero side effects, except that my long term tennis elbow

slowly went away, and hasn't returned...

Thanks, I did read when googled that that people have complained of it making

them hyper, or feel like they had caffeine buzz, as well, in articles advising

not to take after 6 pm as it can cause insomnia.

So based on this I see it's not an isolated issue with me, but wondering why it

happens, and why it's such a source of energy (in an unwanted way in my case)

And if this lessens over time!

The glycine acted more just like pure sugar, even making me feel low blood sugar

type sx after and had to eat breakfast 1.5 hrs earlier.

Still 3 hrs later I'm feeling pretty cranked up, though less.

Wondering Duncan, if you have any advice on this one? I tolerated the msm well,

ie didn't burn or sting ,Ike most stuff, just very wired and buzzy fee.ing all

over.

Darn it. So much so that I'll have to take couple days break, and will try much

less.

Any ideas why msm does this? The glycine to me tasted and acted like sugar in

my body.

Any stressor including a dietary change, toxin load change, malnutrition, can

produce physical stress symptoms. Of the stress symptoms, vague anxiety and

hyperactivity are prominent. Even knocking the body out of homeostasis, which is

an adaptation to adverse conditions, can trigger hyperactivity symptoms.

all good,

Duncan
