Hip tendon, and also Feels like walking on a stump

HI, I'm new! Hope everybody is on the mend. FWIW, I had TKR in the

left knee back in February so that's 9 months ago, and most of the

time it feels fine.

Sometimes it lets me know that it is the remains of a battle area, and

I can " feel " the cut surface of the outer side of my shin bone. That

sensation is still getting less as time goes on.

Sometimes the tendons are stiff - I still have the " annoying pop " too,

and am sure this is a tendon flicking over the edge of the joint. Most

of the time it doesn't really hurt, compared to the ache of the

original arthritic joint surfaces.

The numb area of skin on the outer side of the knee is something I was

warned about. I don't find it much of a problem really. Some days it's

bigger, some days it's smaller. Maybe it will improve still more.

Also: I had a hip resurfacing in Sept 07 (on the same side) and

there's a tendon in my groin that causes me more pain than the knee

does. I ride a stationary bike to help with both knee and hip, and

walk a bit, and do chores round the house and yard, but this tendon

pain is something i am not seeing improve. Anyone have any super tips

on exercises to help? Or has anyone had advice on other techniques?
