Anyone ever pulled a hamstring?

I had TKR 5 months ago and I was doing good till 4 days ago. I was picking up my

mom for thanksgiving and I stepped up onto the curb with my " good " (non surgical

leg) leg and I felt a pop, or a tear in the back of my thigh above the back of

the knee. I thought at first I blew out my knee but after the day went on I feel

like I pulled or tore a hamstring. I felt intense pain when it happened and now

I can't seem to walk without the aid of crutches or a cane. I feel alot of pain

when I walk, the knee gives out at times and it is very painful. I wrapped it

from below the knee, over the knee and up onto the thigh. I have been putting

ice on it too. I can't see my OS till monday. I was having trouble with this

knee, started a month or so ago. Just in the back I was feeling pain and it was

stiff and hard to walk. My TK started the same way and I had a torn meniscus.

Somehow I don't think this is the same thing. I was wondering if anyone else has

had experience

with the hamstring. I don't know what the doctor can do that I haven't done

already but I have to see him anyway. I can hardly walk so i don't think I will

be going to work monday either.
