THR Monday, 12-8-08, Anterior

I had RTHR surgery. Monday, 12-8-08 by Dr. Klotz in Rochester, NY using

the Anterior Approach. The operation took about 2 hours and it went

well. The surgeon used a metal on metal insert.

I was out of bed and weight bearing the day after surgery. They had me

doing 2 hours of Physical Therapy every day and 1 hour of Occupational

Therapy, daily.

I got out of the hospital on Thursday . I'm walking very well with a

walker, which I think will be eliminated at my first PT session,

tomorrow.

I have very little pain, and what little there is, is handled with pain

pills.

My progress has been very rapid and I feel great!
