Guest guest
Centrifuged oil should contain no water at all, thus will escape rancidity for several years at room temperature. Quality First International sells and uses patented equipment that extracts pharmaceutically pure coconut oil in one pass using an entirely cold process and centrifuging. Much less heat is created by the pressure of wet milling than expeller pressing a semi-dry product. I think 1 tbsp daily if you also use butter and cream is about the right amount. Milk fat supplies important fatty acids and vitamins that are missing from cococnut oil. Mama wasn't wrong in having them in her milk and they should still be in your diet all good, Duncan > > is it better to get the centrifuged or cold pressed?
