Steph Mole Removal I had a nasty-looking mole on the top of my right hand; I began painting it with iodine about three months ago........ it's gone! Guest guest
So great! What form of iodine have you been using on the mole? Guest guest
Applying hydrated clay (Therapeutic Living Clay) will remove moles, as well. My husband had three on his head, applied the clay and within the month they were gone. ~Debbie

Guest guest
I tried using Lugol's,then I tried ACV....neither removed my moles. Apparently, it won't get to the " root " if it can't get past the outer layer(s).

It left a bruising effect for about 4 months, but now there's no discoloration or sign of the mole. I've heard of iodine working as well, but haven't tried it. It might be easier than the bloodroot, as the mole area looks pretty nasty after a few days with bloodroot.

Guest guest
Before you use the iodine or other removal agents, you need to lightly file (I used an emery board) or scratch the mole first. You are removing a thin layer of skin or two in order to allow the agent to infiltrate the mole and get to the root. This should also work for warts. Guest guest
We used lugol's to get rid of a very large wart on my husbands foot. It took a while but took care of it nicely. No filing was necessary for the wart. I would not have any qualms using it on a toddler. Guest guest
A long time ago, my mother had a mole removed. The doctor tied a thread around it at the base pretty tight, I think, and it eventually fell off. Maybe one could do that, then treat anything left with iodine. I never tried it as I never had a mole, I'm afraid. Dorothy
Guest guest
Hey mine lightened quite a bit, but the really dark ones are still there. I have been taking 50mg Iodoral every day for about a year and a half now. I am covered in the darn things. Kind of like Larry the Cable Guys sister. :-D But my skin tags are going away. Guest guest
First of all, I am fairly new, and I am thrilled with this group. There are so many knowledgable people, and I am learning a great deal. My question: I read on Dr. Fife's site some testimonials about using coconut oil to remove warts. Does anyone know if this works for moles? I had two moles biopsied and was told they are " changing " and could lead to melanoma, and should be removed. Not only do I not have medical insurance, but I'm not sure I trust the doctor. If coconut oil would not be used, does anyone know of other methods to safely remove moles? Thanks you....Melinda
Guest guest
Oregano Essential Oils works. It's a hot oil, so you'll want to add olive oil or coconut oil. Guest guest
Actually I just bought some Oil of Oregano. Do have any idea of the ratio of olive or coconut oil to oregano oil I should use? Thanks for the information.....Melinda > > > First of all, I am fairly new, and I am thrilled with this group. Guest guest
I would put a drop of Oregano directly on the wart. If it burns, apply a couple of drops of olive or coconut oil. Depends on how sensitive your skin is. Deb On Fri, Jan 21, 2011 at 10:13 PM, Ellison <lindamusician@...>wrote: > > > Actually I just bought some Oil of Oregano. Guest guest
Hi Deb....this is a mole, not a wart, but I assume that doesn't make a difference? I'll give it a try ....thanks so much.....Melinda > > > > > > > First of all, I am fairly new, and I am thrilled with this group. Guest guest
Coconut oil can be used to remove warts and moles. The best way to do this is to keep the coconut oil in contact with the wart as long as possible. Soak a piece of cotton cloth in coconut oil and place it on the wart and keep it moist and on the wart all day, at least 12 hours. Repeat every day until the wart is gone. A drop or two of oregano oil mixed into the coconut oil may be helpful as well. For very hard warts I suggest roughing up the surface of the wart with an emery board before applying the oil, this will allow the oil to penetrate deeper into the wart and give faster results. It may take a couple of weeks or more but once the wart is gone, it is gone for good. Guest guest
I'm not sure this would work for moles, but it worked for skin tags I had on my neck. I used the liquid bandaid and after a week or so of applying it they just fell off. Carol
