My dad is now wanting to get better and he is looking to me for help because

none of my other siblings and no one else he knows thinks quite like I do about

natural health. I have introduced him to kombucha and he seems quite happy with

it. He has had it now for a week and when I talked to him today, he had to put

the phone down because he had forgotten to birp the bottles of his secondary

brew for the day! :) I am proud of him!

I know his body needs good bacteria because he has listened to the white coats

all of his life and he has been on many antibiotics. So this is a good start

towards doing that.

His body is very toxic and my own journey started with a colon cleanse. I want

very much to talk to him about this, but I am also afraid because he is on so

much medication for so long. The two I know he is on are Lipitore and Anteninol

(sp). There are many more bottles on his counter, tho. That makes me nervous as

to how to proceed with him. I feel like the KT will be so inadequate. Does

anyone have advice to help me know how to proceed with him?

He knows he doesn't eat right and it seems like he is leaning more and more

toward getting a blender and blending up vegetables. It has been a touch and go

subject, but he surprised me and brought it up again today on the phone. So I

know he is still thinking about it!

Hi Lyn,

I, too, have been dealing with a senior citizen with a very similar profile. My

senior has a lot of fear about the 'what if's' with respect to interactions with

medications that he is already on and totally misunderstands any discomfort that

may result from detoxification.

So, my approach has been to 1st/heal and 2nd/cleanse. These are the supplements

that he takes:

Multi Vit/Min (Life Extension)

Colostrum (ImmuneTree)

PEO (YES brand)

Vit D (Carlson's D Drops)

Research has led me to believe that the above combo will build/energize/etc., as

well as move toxins out of the body. He hasn't changed his meds and he hasn't

changed his eating habits. He's feeling better and that is getting his

attention. Cravings and habits minimize over time. With this senior, I can't

yank the rug out from under his lifestyle. That kind of change wouldn't last.

So, every day he's getting better and better, and that's good enough for now.

Please let us know how you manage your father. I'd be interested in knowing

what motivates him.

Love and Laughter,

Anne
