Guest guest
I thought this was a fun and interesting article. Most Common Time of Day For Births Most babies are born in the early afternoon between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., while the fewest number of births occur between 10 a.m. and noon. And the most common season for births is the autumn. That's the word from nursing professor Peggy J. Mancuso of Texas Women's University, who analyzed one year of birth data from Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Reporting in the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology, Mancuso uncovered lots of fun facts about the stork. While September, October, and November were the most popular months for babies to be born, December, January, and February were the least common. Moms who have given birth previously most often had subsequent children between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Interestingly, Daylight Savings Time had no effect on birth patterns. What influences the time of day a baby is born? Basically, it's still a mystery. Mancuso reports in Obstetrics & Gynecology that it could be due to the maternal and infant hormones. ~~~ * (it's funny, it seems that most babies born in Northeast Ohio are born in November, December, I have an aunt that has 4 out of 6 her family members born in December. My Mom, brother, cousin and my son were born in November.) hope you enjoyed this one, n
