I have benefitted immensely from what both Duncan and Dee have contributed: please can we keep it all impersonal. Where Dr. Mercola is concerned, I have benefitted also by some of what he has written, but I was offended when several years back he wrote and said the he was discontinuing sending me his newsletter because I had not bought any of his products ( as had been tracked in his system). He has no idea of what my circumstances are financially or otherwise: I had earmarked products of his that I wanted to buy when I could afford it. If we want to compare notes with him or anyone else, my husband and I have spent nearly seven million US dollars of our own hard earned money developing and environmental solution for one of the world's worst pollution problems. We have spent ourselves to the point of insolvency in this effort. I do not need such harsh treatment from Dr Mercola or anyone else, unless they are in a position to show me that they have made similar sacrifices in an effort to help the world at large. Please, lets' stay positive...that is a healing help. I for one, need all the positive comments I can get. Thanks, Taffy
Guest guest
Hi Taffy, I do apologize for adding to your negative energies. I just reached the point of being totally fed up with the way someone who presents himself as a professional is frequently so disrespectful of those who truly are professionals and deserve to be treated as such even if one does not agree. I'm also sorry to hear about your experience with Dr. Mercola. I, too, have not purchased his products for a number of years because they are so expensive but still receive his newsletter daily and find the discussions by others especially valuable and instructive - and although not everyone agrees with EVERYTHING he says, the conversation is always respectful - something we don't always get here with both Duncan and Tanstaafl (). I try not to get personal except in cases where I think they need a taste of their own " medicine " . Anyway I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors for an environmental solution. We could sure use that! Unfortunately, starting something that goes against powerful entrenched interests, as you and your husband are trying to do, is never easy but know that I (and I'm sure others) are rooting for your success. Guest guest
I agree, Taffy. Sounds like a particularly nasty stance to take for a supposed non-troll in a health group huh? Counterproductive. I'm done with her all good, Duncan > In response, I am asking that, please, if there are personality clashes, > can those be dealt with off list: life is full of enough challenges for each > and every one of us without opening the computer to find negative energies > and criticisms directed at others. >
