Stop after one dose? I think I would try it for a few days... and, as everyone

says, drink lots of water.

Subject: MSM headache

Well, I had a 1/8 tsp of MSM last night, first time to try it, and this morning

i've got a headache. I never get headaches unlesss it's food related, so i'm

quite certain its the MSM. Not surprised, since i'm super-sensitive to

things...and I know I do have a high level of mercury in my brain. Should I

keep taking it, or am I just moving mercury around and causing more problems for

myself? I'll check also w/ the frequent chelation group since they are

super knowledgeable about heavy metal detox.

Liz,

There are a number of ways to chelate mercury and other metals out of

the brain, but the safest and one of the most effective I've found is liquid

zeolite. The dose is 10 drops three times daily for one month. Along with

that I would consume a tablespoon full of chlorella daily as this helps

remove mercury from the intestinal tract too. I used NCD (Natural Cellular

Defense by Waiora) for my zeolite, but there are other brands that probably

work as well. Good luck.

This could also be part of a healing process where your body is dumping

toxins...

Perhaps i would suggest continuing - no soda / diet soda or coffee - but just

good clean pure water -

free of fluoride and chlorine to facilitate flushing out toxins...and make sure

you are eliminating

2 ~ 3 times a day...or as we say - keep the bowel open and working.

All the while going slowly - not increasing what you are taking, but listening

to your body...

I have access to a great probiotic that is not degraded by stomach acid...most

are.

That can heal a leaky gut issue as well.

Critical for health in any case... and best way to accomplish this I

have found is Inulin+Whey+Selenium, and homemade raw milk kefir (4-8oz

per day)...

Most likely Jarisch-Herxheimer Reaction.

Is the source verified reliable and safe?

Can you take it in micro-doses throughout the day?

I would muscle test for safety and dosage, just to be on the safe side.

Cheers,

Niko

thanks Bob, I actually have some zeolite leftover from stuff we tried on my Dad

last year. Problem w/ chlorella is it's not a true chelator, and I've also got

an amalgam tattoo still in my mouth...so they say you should not try to chelate

until all mercury is out or you'll just be moving the mercury around and

possibly causing more problems for yourself (or new ones anyway as the mercury

moves and aggravates some other system). It's tricky business, getting these

heavy metals out, and many different theories and experiences out there, but i'm

leaning toward the more cautious/conservative side given how quickly I react to

things - I know the mercury and other metal load in my system if pretty high.

So, once I get the tattoo removed (it's where when they're putting in a filling,

they slice your gum and mercury gets trapped underneath the flesh), I can look

at using the zeolite or DMSA. I should probably back off the MSM until

then...but I will give it a couple more tries, just to be sure it's the MSM and

not a random occurence (not likely).

Hi Don, I do drink clean water, and am taking inulin and selenium (can't do the

whey due to dairy issues)...can't say I " go " more than once a day though , at

least at this time. I do need to increase my water intake...have cut back to

50/50 coffee, working on stopping it altogther. I just bought PB8

probiotic...which one do you use?

Hi Niko, the one I got is made by Labs...pretty reliable source i'd say.

I'm going to skip today, then take again tomorrow...maybe do as you said and

just do an even smaller amount a couple times in the day.

thanks,

Hi Bob:

I agree Bob... zeolites work very well for this in my experience.

However, Waiora has to be the most expensive form out there, plus, it

was not a part of the test done several years ago in which they used

natural dried zeolites with such good results.

Natural dried bentonite clay adsorbed considerably more radioactive cesium then

zeolite in this research:

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ep.10452/pdf

I think Jim is on to something also with bulk dry zeolite. Both clays are

primarily aluminum silicate.

(quote) " Natural " Powdered Clinoptilolite Zeolite

ETS Zeolite is the best way to reverse heavy metal toxicity!

It is the single most effective means of removing radiation from the body.

ETSZeolite has an Unmatched Cation Exchange Capacity Rating of

180 meq per 100g. and is the most cost effective zeolite available today.

all good,

Interesting... zeolite is something else I've been curious about, but

always considered it overhyped (maybe because most of the ones I've

looked at were very expensive)...

Which one do you recommend Jim?

I found this at amazon..

http://www.amazon.com/Zeolite-100%25-Natural-Powder-16oz/dp/B0055OSVTI/ref=sr_1_\

16?ie=UTF8 & qid=1317641081 & sr=8-16

way better price than the premixed stuff.

Sorry , I almost missed your question...

I use anywhere from 2 to 4 Tablespoons of pre-hydrated clay, one heaping

Tablespoon of activated charcoal, and one heaping teaspoon of pure apple

pectin, mixed in with 8-10 oz of pure water, and drink it down in about

a 5 minute period. I'll generally follow it up with another glass of

water over the next half hour.

For the activated charcoal, I used to use plain charcoal from willow

bark, but I now buy two different kinds - from coconut shells, and from

bamboo - and mix them 50/50, and then use that for my slurries:

Charcoal:

http://www.buyactivatedcharcoal.com/bulk

The best site I know of for learning all about clays and how/why they

are so beneficial - and some sources for ordering it - is:

www.eytonsearth.org

And here is where I buy my clay:

http://www.greenclays.com/clay-supplements.php

I do pre-hydrate the clay, it makes it easier to mix, and more

importantly, the dry clay will absorb a *lot* more water and so is much

more likely to cause constipation problems:

http://www.eytonsearth.org/preparing-powdered-clay.php

Last, for the Apple Pectin:

http://tiny.pl/hxcld

(The only place I've been able to find organic apple pectin is ebay...)

Just adjust the ratios/amounts as desired.

If I'm doing a serious cleanse, I'll drink 4-6 of these a day, one every

two hours, and a chomper/herbal nutrition (from the Arise-N-Shine folks)

slurry in between.

If you are taking a lot of these it is very important to listen to your

body and drink plenty of extra water if you feel the slightest bit

constipated. Some people get constipated real quick with clay when they

first start cleansing and quit because of it, but what they should do is

simply slow down, be sure to drink a lot of extra water, and slowly

increase the amount of clay...

If you have any issues with constipation, I also strongly urge you to

keep some homozon on hand, as taking it will relieve the constipation in

a hurry if you get too uncomfortable.

The goal, of course is to:

1. Keep the bowels moving, and

2. Keep them semi-solid (not watery, but not too solid either)...

Again, you'll have to adjust dosages yourself according to your own

situation/needs.

Hope this helps...

Tanstaafl,

That is one serious drink...

Thanks.... I have some of the stuff on hand so I will make up one with that and

see out it goes...

Oh yea, I stopped the plaquenil... the only prescription drug I am using is at

the moment is levoxyl... we will see how it goes.
