Re: EAP and pain was baking soda for cancer

K I found this interesting description that illuminates the importance of EAP in

myelin:

Dr. Hans Nieper was a medical doctor from Germany who gained world-wide

recognition for his innovative therapy for multiple sclerosis. A special product

called calcium EAP, was one of the mainstays of Dr. Neiper's therapy for MS. In

Nieper's EPA formulations, the minerals are bound to the anion ethanol

amino-phosphoric acid (EAP). The benefit from this compound comes primarily from

the EAP, not from the calcium. EAP is an essential part of the myelin sheath

covering your nerves and part of the phospholipids in cell membranes. This

allows the minerals to be directly transported through the cell membrane

directly into the cell, especially targeting brain cells and other cells of the

nervous system.

So in the context I didn't grasp, of regenerating or preventing degeneration of

myelin, nerve sheath material, as it does in the brain in MS treatment, it may

help with post herpetic neuralgia. I think, from O. Becker's work with

osteomyelitis and limb regeneration, that scar tissue precludes healing, but I

hope it helps.

all good,

Duncan

Duncan, yeah it does look good for nerves. But, my dad has hypercalcemia from

his myeloma cancer, so i'm not sure if he should take it. Need to do more

research.

What about this product from the Ph Miracle people? It's a blend of carbonates

and includes sodium, magnesium, calcium and potassium...

Young pHorever™ pHour Salts™ is the " ultimate " baking soda: A combination of

four powerful carbonate salts (sodium bicarbonate, magnesium bicarbonate,

potassium bicarbonate, and calcium bicarbonate) that help maintain the alkaline

design of human, plant, and animal organisms. These salts are naturally

occurring in all fluids of the body. Specifically, they can aid in the reduction

of acidity in the lymphatic, circulatory, and gastro-intestinal systems.

pHour Salts™ may be used daily to increase the alkalinity of any food ordrink.

Other uses include baking, tooth scrub, mouth wash, deoderizer, bath soak, foot

bath, and general cleanser.

Size: 454 grams

Directions: Mix one scoop with 4-6 ounces of purified water daily.

Advanced Use: 3 times per day.

I don't think much of Dr. Young because of his statement that the stomach and

intestine should be alkalai. In this product, the bicarbonates release a lot of

carbon into the blood that must be immediately exhaled because it's net acidic.

There are many mineral options that do not release carbon, mineral citrates and

succinates for example, and I've mentioned the orotates and aspartates as being

the correct carriers of these minerals in biology.

Donna has orotates at http://excellentthings.com

all good,
