Leg cramps are often from low magnesium.....I use 400 m and 400 mg pm of mag

glycinate. You can start by taking an Epsom salts soak (try one tonight....in

expensive and doesn't require anything special except Epsom salts and a tub!) in

the tub....parents of autistic children use this all the time. Magnesium will

help take away all the aches and pains.

Subject: Leg & Foot Cramps

Hi Friends,

I've been having some awful cramps in my feet and lower legs, usually at about

3:00 AM. I'm taking Potassium Gluconate, 99 mg, 3-4 times as day. Still get

the cramps off and on. I've been trying to pinpoint the cause. I've heard

about the 4-Blood Type diet. I have A+ blood. Coconut oil is something that,

according to the diet, I shouldn't eat. I had some coconut oil one evening and

had cramps that night. Does anyone know if this is connected or had this happen

to them? I'm really stumped on this one.

Thanks

Deb

For me, leg cramps are a result of oxalate problems.

I place ZERO faith in the blood type diet.

Thanks, Joan. I haven't had a good soak in Epsom salts lately. Sounds like

a good idea.

Alobar, I looked up oxalate foods on the internet. I've been eating a lot of

things on the list, such as spinach, almonds, quinoa, blueberries. I'm guessing

the problem is too much oxalate.

Thanks

Some people eat oxalates with no problem. Other people have a leaky

gut. There are lots of Do's and Don't's. Rather intimidating for me

when I began the low oxalate diet. The e-list was (and is) most

helpful.

Deb you may want to check out magniesum oil. It is one of the most essential

minerals here is a web site http://www.integratedhealth.com/naturalnews/ I use

it (but i ned to be more consitant ) I too was being awaken at nite i mix it

with some melted coconut oil.  mag. is not really an oil it does feel like it

but it seperates from the oil so you have to shake it with the coconut oil, I am

trying to make a lotion or a salve with coocunt oil, beeswax and sweet almond

oil for ease of use my skin is so dry.  You have to be carefull of potasium too

much or to little, and we do need it in our systems

Yes, I have Hyland's Mag Phos. I use it during a cramp. You take six

pellets under your tongue every 15 minutes until the cramps are over.

Thanks
