Guest guest
I'm beginning to think infections are more common than they say. I'm just beginning to clear up my own, at just under five weeks post op. I will say that all the weight i gained after becoming essentially disabled is gone..25 pounds in five weeks, whoosh. It was actually a good thing because otherwise I would have not known about the infection for a while. Guest guest
I was very overweight already 8 years ago due to weight gain that piled on me during a prior 8 year lastng respiratory blockage and neuromuscular activity disability. I had two great wonderful normal heavenly years when my health was returned via medication changes but before I got around to dieting andvexercising that weight off of me my Rt knee caved inward bone on bone on me leaving me with a whole different new (orthopedic) and very painful knee area ambulation disability. Guest guest
LoL i can vividly recall that mysteriously happening to me back in 1986 when I was size 12. I ordered a favorite sandwich for lunch before we were to visit a relative in a city we were looking to buy a house in. Well, to my shock, for some totally unknown to me to this day reason my appetite got replaced by nausea at the thought of eating the second half of that otherwise well made (not greasy) favorite sandwich. A Reuben it might have been. I declined joining my husband and just moped around our room wondering what the hay what had " hit me " if NOT the flu. i think i was okay to enjoy dinnertime but I totaly agree with you, unless you know there is a safe and/or sane or some non killer medical cause for that way to loose weight it can be very very scary and depressing, especially if you are not overweight. Back in 1969-70 i dropped 10 lbs in a few days ( was 5ft 5 low 120's ) and had a great appetite, no nausea but kept loosing in spite of eating nomally. But that turned out to have a cause called Graves Disease toxicosis needing to be treated to stop the rapid wt loss from trying to kill me.
