I have always wondered if the Synvisc injections had anything to do with the

Bakers cyst that I had.  The doctor did not remove the cyst when I had my knee

replacement, but it eventually resolved itself.  Anyone else with a Bakers cyst

that has had the injections?

I never thought about it but.. I did develop a Bakers Cyst and even with

my TKR.. I still have it and it still fills up from time to time. I

went through Synvisc injections twice in one year.. Before I ended up

having both of my knees replaced. I only had the injections in my Right

Knee.. And I only developed a Bakers Cyst in my right knee. I never

thought about the fact that maybe the injections may have had something

to do with it.

I had the injections and my friend had them also, 3 times in her case. Neither

of us developed a Baker's cyst. Another friend did not have the injections and

did have a BC.

All the best, Joan
