Medina County chooses to disburse their funds to adults/near adults in work programs......nothing is offered to children whatsoever (feel free to correct me if I am wrong anyone out there) This is what I have been told by my MRDD. My daughter is 2 3/4yrs old and per the MRDD there are no services available for her except speech therapy once a month and OT twice a month (maybe). So I am in the progress of trying to change things if not for my daughters sake, for the sake of any other parents who are coming up the pike.
