Guest guest
There are some things you can do for your issues... the thing to remember is that tho coconut oil is very good for the body, it is not a panacea for all conditions...that said, there are also herbal solutions, perhaps more focused to your issues... For hypothyroid, I would take dulse as a tincture and / or bladderack also as a tincture... tinctures have no fillers or binders in them...the taste is an issue for some... but hey, you can get used to alot to help support your body... There is a product called MPA-RPÂ which equals mucus plug absorber that is a gentle cleanser of the colon...and helps to clean out the pockets in your colon... Aloe would be helpful, but... By FDA rules any aloe now needs to first be pasteurized...which is destructive to its beneficial constituents... These are available at www.goodherbs.com/5starherbs (member # 7806) Â you can order these from there, if you like. This is a company that I have been dealing with for a number of years... I know the owner personally and have toured the facility several times... This is a company that has integrity that is rare in the business world... and when other have chosen to take short cuts and buy cheap raw materials, this company does not. To make a helpful aloe juice...you will need the gel from a leaf opened and slit down the middle...and then add in a cup of distilled water...and drink that fresh 1/4 cup at a time over the day...refridgerate after first making it and make it fresh each day. I wish you wellness... This group has said alot about coconut oil and like others have said much is already been said, but folks here are helpful with specific questions... So feel free to continue to ask away...Welcome to this discussion forum... d From: spotsrus <spotsrus@...> Subject: Re: Coconut oil Coconut Oil Date: Saturday, March 12, 2011, 9:15 AM Â Dear , if you would like one on one consultation about supplementing with coconut oil or any other supplement or if you would like expert help with your hypothryoid and diverticulosis then I would suggest finding a qualified Naturopathic Doctor in your area. That is where you can have the expectation out of someone to specifically help YOU and you alone with your specific needs. Coming to a free group and having the expectations that you do aren't fitting. This group owes YOU nothing. These kind people share their time and experience and get into conversations amongst themselves that yes, aren't always directly about " coconut oil " . You have been asked to review the archives, where there is an overwhelming amount of information written about coconut oil usages and dosages etc. There are also books written on the subject and you might want to go buy one of those off of Amazon.com or the like on the subject. I would also suggest that you find a Naturopathic Doctor that that might also help you in the area of BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy as it seems you also have some of the symptoms of Menopause. I hope you get to feeling better. > > Are there any groups where I can get more information about Coconut Oil? I joined this one thinking I could find out how to use it for my health issues & have yet to find anything helpful. Just people arguing over silly supplements that have nothing to do with coconut oil? I have hypothryroid and diverticulosis and am wondering how much I should supplement with and how it should be used? In my coffee? Whatever. I haven't seen one useful post yet and haven't really been able to find anything in the archives. Can someone at least stear me in the right direction? My coconut oil arrived today and I'd like to get started on it. > > >
