I DID start a new thread, but when including quoted text from a message from a different thread, it is polite to include the 'WAS: old message subject' for reference. > Alobar > (posting as a list moderator) (posting as myself)
Guest guest
This list is very busy these days. Your post had nothing to do with Kale. People are leaving this list because the posts flood them daily. There is no such thing as secrecy on line. If one wants secrecy, one should not be posting on line. Maybe because... 1. it was a brand new OFF-TOPIC post (plainly marked as such for anyone who wants to ignore such posts) 2. that had nothing to do with Kale. > People are leaving this list because the posts flood them > daily. List churn is quite common for high volume lists... welcome to the world of list moderators. > There is no such thing as secrecy on line. If one wants secrecy, one > should not be posting on line. That post was not about secrecy... that post was about people who innocently post/share pictures online that have hidden geo-location tage in them that allow anyone to be able to determine precisely where that picture was taken (ie, your HOME). Thanks for your apology about FALSELY accusing me of thread hijacking. You could (and as list moderator, SHOULD) have taken this exchange off list, but you chose to make it public, so you yourself (not me) are responsible for the additional off topic list traffic. Guest guest
I am new to to this group, but honestly have already considered unsubscribing because there are sooooo many posts. I belong to a few other groups too, but none post as many as this group. Nothing wrong with people posting when they have something of importance to share, but alot of the posts just seem like people quibbling back and forth. I'm hoping it is not always this way. >> What in the world does this have to do with this list? > > If you read the text I quoted, someone had said something about a > picture they had included in their post... thus the context. > > I did add the OT (off topic) subject tag... > >> If you are going to post something off-topic, please start a new >> message thread. Guest guest
I have to agree with you, . I am very thankful for everything I have learned, but the squabbling is very tiresome, and a waste of time to sort through those emails where the arguing just goes on and on. ________________________________ From: Sorensen <travisjsorensen@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Fri, February 25, 2011 5:14:06 PM Subject: Re: Re: OT - warning about posting pictures online...  I am new to to this group, but honestly have already considered unsubscribing because there are sooooo many posts.
