So sorry to hear of your sciatic problem Bill. I am afraid I have no experience

with that so I cannot recommend anything. Hopefully someone else on here can

though. I do hope you can find some relief so that you can enjoy the rest of

the summer. Keep us posted.

[Norton AntiSpam] Pain Behind Knee

Thanks for the replies everyone ... More info in my

back-off-knee-light-ups:...The Feb `11 surgery and therapy went well, then an

old sciatic issue emerged. For years I've had a rare sciatic issue that would go

away for months. However, toward the end of PT, the old butt-down-the-leg

sciatic came back. The surgeon and therapist were sure they could resolve this

common ailment, so a month of add'l PT began. At the end of that month, the

discomfort had moved from the butt and thigh to the back of the knee, and

remains there! The Medicare PT clock in FL ran out, and we headed to the North

Woods of Minnesota for the summer, where Pts, medicine men, are not too handy...

I'm just sure that is nerves back there " zinging " . The most discomfort comes

when the knee is bent back, just moderately. During PT, the knee would flex back

with no discomfort, now all sorts of " wires light up back there " . Since

competent PT's in FL were not able to eliminate the problem, I'm wondering if

chiropractor, acupuncturist, or masseuse would help? If I can find one... What

do you think?
