Guest guest
Hi , The original stim that I had lasted right about 5 years and then the battery had to be replaced. The one I have now is rechargeable and should last about 10 years. There are leads that go up into the spinal canal. It was first put in Dec '04. What was the problem with the pump? We discussed both and I decided on the stim because the idea was that I wanted to stop opiates for a while at least, which I was able to do for a few years. Jeff From: " maryanne.waspe1@... Jeff, how long have you had the neurostimulator? , and does it go down your spinal cord?. I once had a Medtronic pump but thank god thats gone now.. -- Re: jeff good news Hi , Thanks. Unfortunately, due to my back, I take some pain killers all the time even with the neurostimulator I have implanted in my back. Hope you enjoy the soccer. And don't pay too dearly for it later, Jeff ------------------------------------
