Guest guest
Jeff to be brief..I had the Medtronic pump inserted on Feb 14th 1998, got an infection where the catheter enters the skin and spinal canal, which in turn caused Bacterial Encephalitis. I came out of hospital on 4th august to go to a rehab place.having spent 7 weeks on life support. Thats the reason I will never ever have a needle stuck into my back again. Sort of freaked out by it.it was a year before I could drive again. Not a scenario I want to ever repeat. xx -- jeff neuro question Jeff does the nerostimulator have to have parts or batteries replaced? Jeff, how long have you had the neurostimulator? , and does it go down your spinal cord?. I once had a Medtronic pump but thank god thats gone now.. ------------------------------------

Guest guest
Oh , how awful! No, I wouldn't go near a needle again. Somehow your story gets worser and worser. It makes me feel how lucky I am with only one TKR. Joan Sent from my iPhone On Jun 4, 2011, at 7:10 PM, " maryanne.waspe1@...
