Guest guest
Pain (and sometimes we dont know we sleep through some degrees of pain) is listed aa one of the various possible instgators of sleep apnea. Have you tried shifting a good size pillow around between your legs before going to sleep on either side? They even have some pillows (a tad small but thick so might work) that wrap securely to the leg. My bed pillows always come away when I use them. People can have snoring wihout having sleep apnea just like they can have sleep apnea without and true snoring. The sleep study will tell you what is best for you to do. You might need a nightly CPAP machine if it is obstructive sleep apnea. L > > > Hi all! Guest guest
Snoring runs in my family and it isn't so much because of our weight. Although I do hear that people who are obese have a higher rate of sleep apnea. None of us may have the solution for you as to what is causing the snoring, but I wear ear plugs and it works wonders for a good night's sleep. Guest guest
congratulations for the successful revision ,my snoring didnot change but started sneezing heavily.  i had my left hip joint replaced one and half a year ago . due to continuous pain , recently i had it gama radiographed and the report says: " Delayed phase shows two focal areas of Mild increase tracer uptake in the proximal and distal ends of he prosthesis, and this correlated with looseness " . my doctor did not confirm it but advised me not have any more surgeries, just he gave me pain pills. so i would like to ask if you or some body else knows about such case. Mustafa  > >Hi all! Guest guest
That sneezing might be from what is called vasomotor rhinitis. My DH has that and so does our son. . Each from their own different triggers of course. My ds has been diagnosed both both types of rhinitis/rhinorhea, the aliergic as well as the so called non-allergic (vasomotor) form. One of my DH's non food related triggers occurs after he receives general anesthesia. In post op recovery just BEFoRE he gains consciousness. he begins to sneeze horribly so and if it is after dental or nose or throat surgery he can be expected to be blowing blood all over for the few minutes he is transitioning to consciousness.
