MERCURY BAN BILL: Get Behind it.

A bipartisan bill was introduced by Congressman Dave Weldon and Congresswoman Caroline Maloney. HR-4169 will remove Thimerosal-containing vaccines from the market while banning Thimerosal from use in future vaccines. ACT NOW!

This is what we've been waiting for. Each time one of us writes our representatives, the chances of this not happening to someone else's child increases. Plus, keep in mind that as long as Thimerosal-containing vaccines are still on the shelves, autism numbers will never sharply drop. WHAT TO DO:

Enter your zip code in the box at the bottom of this page (http://www.nationalautismassociation.org/grassroots.php) under "Write to Congress" and it will give you your state's elected officials and all of their contact information. Contact as many as possible! CALL THEM, FAX THEM OR E-MAIL THEM. Send your letter, then send it again...get permission from your family members and friends to send it under their names. Send as many as you can!

WHAT TO WRITE/SAY:

First and foremost, ask them to support HR-4169! Tell them your story, and ask them to put children first. Gives examples of the devastation this has caused. SAMPLE:

This bill will eliminate the second most toxic substance on earth from childhood vaccinations. We firmly believe that our loved one was severely injured by mercury in vaccines and science will continue to support our beliefs. Please, DO NOT risk this same thing happening to another child! PUT CHILDREN FIRST! STAND UP FOR THEIR HEALTH AND THEIR RIGHTS!!!

Mercury is a known neurotoxin. Keep it away from the bloodstreams of our children! Drug companies are capable of removing it. Require them to do so!
