Just the usual half-truth blended with outright stupidity. I esat a

huge amount of saturated fats. Coconut oil, butter, heavy cream.

Some parts of the year, I eat a dozen eggs a week. Other parts of the

year, I esat no eggs. My blood pressure is usually between 88/65 and

122/71.

Canola oil, on the other hand, is an oil I would *NEVER* use.

Yup, the writer is an idiot. She said says saturated fats clog arteries, but an

analysis published in 1971 revealed plaque is 74% unsaturated and

polyunsaturated fats (74%!) that have simply gone rancid and sticky. That's what

rancidifies the cholesterol carrying it. She claims MCT oils are easily broken

down by enzymes when she could have found out in under two minutes they are

directly absorbed with no enzyme action. Wish the magazines would quote people

with some knowledge.

Flip side is, how the heck does such an idiot get to advise people on health?

Ah, well, get used to it, 'coz it'll be much worse for bad info from the

incompetents when ISPs start charging enough for Internet slices that we curtail

our forum communication.

Anyway, Alobar is in good company. Many people go LCHF and saturated fats are

the best fats for you. It's pretty safe and I think a life extender. My wife who

has no gallbladder has no trouble with high fat, mostly butter and cream.

all good,

Hi Duncan:

I don't know, but fortunately we do not have to depend on her (and the

mainstream press that so often speaks the same BS.

Jim
