Guest guest
How do I begin to ask or explain this? Hmm. After a TKR (now around 6 week point) is it common or uncommon for someone to have initial problems where their brain tends too much to spontaneously resort to using their foot arches and ankles at tlimes that they instead should be spontaneously using a knee bend or knee crouch response to right or maintain their upright balance during little induced balance challenging exercises? i see some things icalled " in the shoe AFO's " in the special device section of my shoe store and wonder if I might be an upcoming candidate for them if I don't pull out of this tendency. I am sure my PT is more confident than I am that I will overcome this early obstacle but what if she cannot? Has anyone else had this problem or know of any others who have had to overcome this seemingly pre TKR years wrongly learned and engrained reflex.
