Guest guest
Sweet Rashelle Amen to that go PAT!! blessings R Exercising with stretch bands is better than lifting weights!! Hi Rashelle and Everyone, I find that exercising with stretch bands is better than lifting weights. I have made feeble attempts to lift weights in the past, but it didn't work for me and I didn't like it. However, I LOVE exercising with stretch bands, most especially with the stretch bands that I get from Life Lift!!! As soon as I get my second long black stretch band, I am going to do this muscle strengthing exercise that I came up with the other day using the only strech band I have so far, ONLY starting then I will be able to do it with two stretch bands at the same time, and I know that I will love THAT!!! Here is the exercise as I propose to do it after I get my second long stretch band: MUSCLE STRENGTHENING EXERCISE USING TWO LONG STRETCH BANDS AT THE SAME TIME: 1. Hold both handles of one stretch band in one hand as you hold the cable on the floor with the foot which is on the same side as the hand you are holding the handles in. 2. Do the same thing with the other long stretch band with the hand and foot on the opposite side of your body. 3. Stretch up to the ceiling with both hands as far as you can, stretching your entire body up to the ceiling!!! Doing this will enable you to use all FOUR HANDLES as weights at the same time!!! You can hold this position for as long as possible, extending the length of time over the course of weeks, months, and years. You have to go slowly with this, as the combined weight of all FOUR HANDLES might be too heavy for you to hold at the same time at once!!!! so, Rashelle, when I get my second long strech band from Life Lift, I will start doing the above exercise every day, hopefully for the rest of my life!!! Please try this exercise, and tell us all how you like it. Thanks a lot, my dear Life Lift friends!!! Love always, Pat

Guest guest
AMEN Sisters of LL I love it when I just think of a new stretch Blessings R Pat Hi Pat! You are soooo correct here. Lifelift is amazing all the way around and effective with or without the lift part; with or without the exercises or with just using our own imaginations to create moves that can help us. Guest guest
Hi Pat and Everyone, I've been extremely busy, but wanted to stop by and say " hello " . I'm in agreement with you all, LL is wonderful. I've been attempting to take a break at the top of each hour during my workday to do 10 LL breaths. I've been successful on most days. It really helps to keep me alert throughout the day. Have a great day everyone! Pat Lusher <patlusher@...> wrote: Hi Wanda, Isn't Life Lift great!!! Guest guest
Hi , How nice to hear from you!!! I am so glad that you are doing 10 Life Lift breaths an hour, and I will pray that you will continue to do that and that you won't forget!! I do 10 Life Lift breaths at least 10 times a day, for a total of 100 Life Lift breaths a day, and that seems to work really well for me!!! You know, I don't know how I EVER lived without Life Lift breathing before I found it, and I am SOOOO glad that I will NEVER have to live without it again!!!! Once again, it is so nice to hear from you again!!! Have a great night, my dear friend, and thanks so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to stop by once in awhile!!! Guest guest
Hi Liz, You did not miss my birthday, as it is not until March 30. So many people misunderstood me that it is unbelievable. I sent a post to the group on or before Feb. 17 telling everyone that I had been doing Life Lift breathing for one year and that Feb. 17 was my first Life Lift anniversary. Apparently by doing that I somehow made people think that Feb. 17 was my birthday!!! I don't know what else could have made so many of my Life Lift sisters think that my birthday had passed already, when, it fact, it is still about one month away. So, my sweet friend, you did not miss my birthday!!! Love always, Pat Pat Hi Pat, I'm sorry that I missed your B-day. I hope you had a good one! Guest guest
Wow Molly Thanks For sharing, I did not know that about Rashelle Blessings R PAT You are doing great . I can believe you are skinny and dainty with even a 17 pound loss . Guest guest
Hi Molly and , I really can't believe that I have ONLY lost 17 lbs. so far from Life Lift breathing after a little more than 13 months because I am so skinny and dainty!!! That is truly a miracle!!! Wow!! From my appearance now, at 182 lbs., I can just see myself when I am at my goal weight of 130 lbs. looking like I weigh less than 100 lbs!!!!! I don't care if I have to wait for three or four years for that to happen, as I know that the longer it takes me to get down to 130 lbs. the better off I will be!!! I am planning to do Life Lift breathing for the rest of my life anyway, so what's the difference if I get to 130 lbs. next year, the year after, or the year after that!!! I have always been totally against very rapid weight loss because I know that if you lose weight too fast it will probably damage your body in one way or another. And, unlike most people who are on weight loss programs or who have been on weight loss programs in the past, I am totally in favor of hitting weight loss plateaus. I believe that weight loss plateaus are essential, as they serve as methods the body uses to make sure that everything is working properly in one's body before further weight loss is resumed. Guest guest
Pat, Welcome to the group, a place where you can relate and find answers. We all have some mysterious pains and look pretty normal, but inside is screaming. I have had Reiters Syndrome for about 40 years now. It use to go in remission, now for the last 10 years it hasn't. I am 58, so it is a pain in the life. I am in a wheelchair now. I have the same symptoms you have, plus more. My son is 24, and has AS. He started this in high school. Poor guy sometimes hurts so bad he is almost to cry. Since I've worked with mine so long, I kind of know how to help him. Dr's don't really know how to treat these diseases, but they try. We need more reasurch done in this department. But I feel the Drs look at us and see us 'looking' healthy, but it is on the inside, and hard for them to deal with. Good luck, and keep coming back!
