Guest guest
No problem. I have had several MRI's, on my shoulders, spine, neck, and low back, since my two knee replacements. Just disclose on the pre-MRI history form. Guest guest
I had an MRI yesterday and I have 5 joints replaced, I didn't feel a thing, they are supposed to do a special MRI, with different magnetic waves and only the newest machines will do that. I had to remind the technician that's what the surgeon wanted. I had it done, to make sure there is no bursitis in my nearly 16 year old hip. This new machine was much much louder than the old ones, I couldn't hear the music in the ear phones it was so loud.this took 20 minutes I've also had a CT done with 5 joints. xx -- Re: Question I had an MRI too after THR...on the thigh, longest bone in the body and it took too long, my replacement heated up and I nearly pulled the plug on the test.
