Guest guest
Meant for the group... To All In Group Thanks for the welcome into the group. My name is Rose or Rosie or RoRo. My first total knee was done it will be 13yrs in March. My second one was done it was 7 yrs in Sept. Then it will be 2 yrs in Feb that I had my partial shoulder done. But now I have RSD in my arm and can use it much. I am going to be 67 in March. I live in NY in Orange County in Harriman. I am about 20 min from West Point. The worst part is now I have been losing my bal and falling. But with the 2 knees I can bend them to get up. I also now have diabetic neuropathy so now my legs hurt at night real bad. And they say that RSD travels thru your body. And that is very painfull. Sincerly Rosie

Guest guest
RSD is pain that is like cancer it travels thru your body. And if you have it they do not like to operatate as it makes it worse. Just look up PAIN RSD. It has to do with nerves. And to get any releif I have to go for needles in the neck done by my pain Dr. And I also have FIBRO. Rosie To All In Group> > > Thanks for the welcome into the group. Guest guest
It’s Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. I once went to a REALLY BAD OS that diagnosed me with this because he thought I was in too much pain for my injury. I had torn all three ligaments on the outside of my ankle and was in terrible pain, especially when he decided to see what would happen if he moved my foot. He then sent me to x-ray (can’t see ligament damage upon x-ray!) and said he couldn’t see anything wrong. He just stood there and scratched his head when I came out of x-ray crying because the tech kept moving my foot. This was the Monday or Tuesday after I had to go to the ER on a Friday night right after the injury happened and the docs and Pas and nurses there all said I tore the ligaments bad in my ankle but would need to wait until the swelling went down for a cast. They were super nice, but not this doc. He was a poop. He ended up casting my foot and ankle up to my knee for three weeks because every time I hung my leg down it felt as if my foot was going to fall off. He just didn’t believe me that I injured it the way I did. I literally FELT the ligaments snap. It was awful. http://www.rsds.org/2/what_is_rsd_crps/index.html http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/reflex_sympathetic_dystrophy/reflex_sympathetic_dystrophy.htm Joi Gizmo, Max, Jazzy, Artemis, Maui, the GC and Painted breeders http://www.toolady.com/www/breeders/joyfulfeathers/index.html Member of the Pyrrhura Breeders Association - Not just for breeders! www.pyrrhurabreedersassociation.com Member of the ASA From: Joint Replacement [mailto:Joint Replacement ] On Behalf Of pam Sent: Friday, January 11, 2008 6:24 PM Joint Replacement Subject: Re: Fw: To All In Group Hello Rosie, What is RSD? > > Meant for the group... > > To All In Group > > > Thanks for the welcome into the group.
