Guest guest
Alobar, I looked at the ingredients and explanation and I don't think it's undenatured, and it contains hydrolyzed whey that we usually avoid. But I think it's a net gain for you because of all the anabolic components they've added to it. On the face of it I see no harm or benefit from adding a little to the Now whey. I think that the anabolism is dose-related so the full dose for a few days would be better than a tiny dose until you run out. all good, Duncan > > Duncan, > I just stumbled upon a free sample of a whey product I received some > time back called MuscleTech Nitro-Tech Hardcore. Guest guest
Non-hydrolysed whey carries glutamic acid, the main amino acid in milk, while hydrolysed whey contains glutamic acid that is partially broken to glutamate, which has to be recycled or dealt with as waste. There are differing biological effects depending on how the proteins were broken down by hydrolysis. Some are denatured, which reduces and/or changes their biological impact. Even though it's partly denatured it also results in less allergic response. Whatever you're happy with, as long as it's mainly undenatured. I think non-hydrolysed is a better product. all good, Duncan > > to0day i bought my first whey powder and it contains hydrolised whey protein. > why do u avoid it > > maria > >
Guest guest
According to a report that I read... and it seems to hold up, once you buy it, you can tell that it is undenatured by the way that it mixes into stuff and if it is flavored. Now makes both kinds. I bought the wrong one once. It was vanilla flavored and tasted great plus it was much easier to mix. I realized that I had made a mistake before I read this report. It sounds like you're saying that if it tastes ok and is easy to mix, then it is not good? If so, I disagree... My high quality whey protein isolate, plain/unflavored, tastes fine, and mixes easily with water...
