Guest guest
Barbara, Kaufman taught my Stefan to speak in three weeks when he was four, after a year of 5 hours of therapy weekly, with no success. Your daughter is nothing in terms of my guy( now almost 7). He tried to attack accross the table. It's worth every penny to spend time at the Kaufman Center in W. Bloomfield, Mi. However, my family doesn't see us as being married which hurts and infuriates me.

Guest guest
Not to argue with you Gail, but this kind of attention *is* given to these things you're mentioning. It's just that contraindications and alternate findings get poo-poo'd quickly like it seems you're doing with the rose possibly being carcinogenic. And to be fair, there's a razor edge between popular science and junk science where all of the above is concerned, which only confounds the issue more. We're in a unique position to observe a lot of this as it unfolds where perfumery and aromtherapy are concerned, just imagine what the general public must conclude when tidbits actually land in the news.... sara > I will take the carcinogenic aspects of Rose seriously when I see the same > attention given to GMO foods, HRT on women, Botox, Flouride, Fake Fats, Fake > Sugars > > and every other synthetic given the same oh my god reaction. > > This is so rediculous. I am trying to come up with a scent that will replicate the smell of freshly washed cotton sheets, but not the cloying smell of a commercial laundromat! Bleahhh! That would be the smell of mass amounts of drier fried fabric sheets- anti-wrinkle or whatever they are- despicable little disgusting things. Guest guest
Rich- Been following your glutathione comments with interest. Does certainly seem to be at the nexus of a lot of functions and has lead me to add some things into my CFS/ Cpn regime, including NAC, slowly ramping up undenatured whey, looking to see if there has been any resulting (from glut depletion) mercury accumulation, etc. Interestingly, just had a phone consult with Ken Holtorf MD (the medical director for the Fibromyalgianand Fatigue Clinics) for my daughter who is also being treated for CFS and immune dysfunction. When I asked him if he's found it worthwhile to do red cell or other measurement of glutathione levels, he said, " No, because when we did, everyone tested depleted, so we stopped testing for it and just assume it's the case. " They use glutathione push in a lot the IV treatments he's developed. Jim Message: 18 Date: Wed, 11 May 2005 18:22:59 -0000 From: " rvankonynen " <richvank@...> Subject: Angiotensin Receptor Blockers and Glutathione Hi, all. In the past there has been discussion on some of the lists about whether making efforts to build glutathione would be compatible with taking an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). I found four papers in the literature that report investigations into the effect of ARBs on the glutathione status in rats and in humans. The abstracts of these papers are pasted below. All four papers report that it was found that ARBs raised glutathione and decreased the state of oxidative stress. I think that this suggests that glutathione building is compatible with taking ARBs. In addition, it may also suggest that one of the ways in which ARBs are beneficial to some people might be their effect on raising glutathione and lowering oxidative stress. Please note that I am neither advocating the use of ARBs or opposing them, only trying to understand the interactions. Rich
Guest guest
Hey guys, I keep reading about all these bikes. we are having wonderful weather right now, & it's KILLING my dd ( & ME) that we can't ride together. Am emailing my surgeon's PA (the one who won't touch me anymore) for an ok to ride. I know he'll say to go ahead, but, dd thinks the doc has to say it's ok. Same kid who ratted me out to my friends for getting OOB too much after the postop bleeding ( & she's only 5) - lol. What I'm wondering, is what these bikes look like & if you can buy them used. We are really strapped for money, but I'd love to find something I could ride with her that wouldn't leave me in so much pain I can't move for days. I'm getting moderate relief from the Neurontin & I really would like to try to do this - especially if there's a possiblity of another surgery coming up within the next year. I'd like to "get in shape" as much as possible. I do have an older style Schwinn in storage (I think) that has the kind of handlebars that are on little kids bikes & it's a one speed with pedal brakes. I LOVED THIS BIKE when I was well. I wonder if I could ride something like that? Any ideas? TIA Again, you guys are wonderful Blessings, Carla Kay Ps. 96:1,3, & 4a Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
