Guest guest
It all boils down to more calories. More good foods. Walk to get a better appetite and walk to help digest. We are made for movement. If digestion is a problem you could have her try some pancreatic enzymes. Resetting her intestinal flora with a good probiotic like Bio K or something similar would help. After making a plan its.. eat eat eat. In addition, there are high calorie drinks that I see for patients in hospitals. " Ensure " is one that is widely used: gives extra calories between meals. Guest guest
The specific lean weight gainer ratified by the Physician's Desktop Reference for prescription drugs is a high-protein supplement called undenatured whey. Second best is raw eggs. Weight you put on with fat or carbohydrates will be simply fat, not at all what anybody wants and arguably a lifespan shortener. Too bad if she's a vegan; that's how it isis. all good, Duncan > > I have done lots of research on coconut oil for weight loss. Guest guest
Hi, Living in an impoverished land makes me think she might have parasites. I would do a good parasite cleanse and build up with probiotics. Deb > > I have done lots of research on coconut oil for weight loss. Guest guest
Definitely gut dysbiosis issues. Candida, Leaky Gut ,Hypochlorhydria, Colitis I.B.S., I.B.D. etc. All rooted in the same place. For starters she'll probably need B12 injections ( methylocobalamin, NOT cyanocobalamin!), I.V. iron supplementation ,pre and probiotics of the highest affordable quality possible until her gut dysbiosis is figured out. She'll need an excellent health coach to determine all the details. People suffering from anemia usually need grass-fed red meat. I have personal family experience with this. Do not under-estimate moral ( enviromental and ethical concerns like vegeterianism etc.), mental and psychological factors ( mental fogginess, impaired judgement, stress and other emotional issues). They go hand in hand. Your friend's inability to digest red meat should be the focus and not the red meat itself, but that's easier said than done. Coconut oil consumption indirectly will definitely contribute to her overall health and wellness, as we all know. Seek out a very experienced Naturopathic Dr. who specializes in this field, to work out all the details. Look into the following areas for more help: 1. Dr. Mercola -Metabolic or Nutritional Typing- Free Assessment/Test 2. Gut and Psychology Syndrome- Dr. -McBride . Book and website 3. Jon Barron's site has some good tutorials re: digestive and G.I systems. There are deeper Spiritual and Emotional structures that could be explored. For that send me an email directly as it goes beyond the scope of this forum.
