Guest guest
I can't answer you question but my bedroom was on the second floor also. Before the surgery, my husband and I brought a twin bed down from our guest room and converted the living room into a temporary bedroom for me. I slept down there for about a month. The first floor bathroom was very close so it was our solution to allow me to go home rather then to a rehab facility. It worked out very well. I hope someone else can answer your exact question.
