Guest guest
I have a friend who takes cayenne supplements with every meal, along with a number of other supplements. I have looked online at different sites that indicate that this is very beneficial but was just reading an article that included the quote below: " Capsaicin, a compound found in jalapeño and cayenne peppers, temporarily stimulates your body to release more stress hormones, such as adrenaline, speeding up your metabolism and thus increasing your ability to burn calories, says study coauthor Angelo Tremblay, director of the Institute of Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods at Laval. " I am not nearly as knowledgeable about these things as many of the people on the site seem to be, but I always understood that stress hormones such as adrenaline can have negative effects on your body. So if Capsaicin stimulates your body to release more of this, is it really beneficial to take it? Thanks, Jennie
Guest guest
Good question, Jennie. I make and take a cayenne tincture; which definitely gives me energy. In Dr s' books, I've seen no reference that it's harmful, but can't say for sure other than that. Guest guest
I know this is a COCONUT forum, but just have to put in my 2 cents worth about CAYENNE. Back in 03' survived a massive brain damage, asked the surgent why did I make it thru the operation. He said 'STRONG HEART' have to givethis herb credit, been using for yrs. Guest guest
Congratulations Gerardo ! Apparently, it makes whatever you are taking it with absorb better into your system. Good for circulation and for the heart. I buy it in bulk and get the hottest one I can find. I take a little every day. I consider its part of nature's pharmacy. > > > > > > > > > > > I am not nearly as knowledgeable about these things as many of the > > > people on the site seem to be, but I always understood that stress > > > hormones such as adrenaline can have negative effects on your body. > > > So if Capsaicin stimulates your body to release more of this, is it > > > really beneficial to take it? > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > Jennie > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Jennie, most people seek to reduce adrenaline and cortisol to normal values, and increase thyroid to normal values, because so many are toxic and these people already have high adrenaline and cortisol, which reduces immune system activity and physical repair. That said, speeding up the metabolism is a good idea for many if not most people, and all seniors. This is one of the focal points of an anti-aging program. Metabolism is increased by the removal of suppressive foods such as the polyunsaturated oils and most carbohydrates, and increasing saturated fat and protein. Adults and especially seniors can take HGH enhancers to elevate metabolic rate. It's actually an anti-aging tool, probably the single most important factor in an anti-aging program, balanced diet aside. This has been well studied especially vs " age related " depreciation. all good, Duncan > > I have a friend who takes cayenne supplements with every meal, along > with a number of other supplements.
