Guest guest Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Coconut oil IS a saturated fat. A very healthy saturated fat. Some call it the healthiest oil on earth. My blood pressure was a tad high years ago. I cut back in salt intake. BP went back to normal. I have been using coconut oil daily for about 7 or 8 years. I started low and slowly increased my intake to about 6 gallons of oil over 7 or so months. Last time I measured my BP it was 122/71. I am 65.
