Guest guest
Hi , This sounds interesting and well worth a try. Years ago I ate liver at least once a week and loved it. Then, because it became so hard to find a good uncontaminated form I quit. Thanks for this. Dee > > I just found out about Liver supplements and particularly Dessicated Liver supplements. People say it has been used by Bodybuilders for many years to increase energy and add muscle. Many good testimonials on it. My concern is it contains Iron and taking it daily might overdose on Iron which could be big trouble. I appreciate any opinions. > > Here's some good articles and websites on it. > > Liver has an " anti-fatigue " factor > http://editor.nourishedmagazine.com.au/articles/anti-fatigue-factor-of-liver > > http://www.cholesterol-and-health.com/Benefit-Of-Cod-Liver-Oil.html > > http://www.leviticus11.com/morlivr.htm > > http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=39593912559 > > > PRODUCTS > One person tried various brands and liked Nature's Life Beef Liver Tabs better than NOW or " Beverly International " . > $10.39 VitaminShoppe & $8.70 iherb - 16 Servings at 9 Grams > http://www.iherb.com/Nature-s-Life-Beef-Liver-1-500-mg-100-Tablets/37113?at=0 > > (some say they chew the tablets since it is food) > > NOW Liver Powder - 34 servings at 10 Grams ($8 Swanson's) > Tastes Awful, Just swig it down! > http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Liver-Powder-12-oz-340-g/656?at=0 > > > >

I've been taking dessicated liver powder, dessicated thymus powder, and dessicated adrenal powder for many years... I prefer the source here - I buy in bulk (5lbs for $80) and make my own capsules (get some extra gelatin that way too): http://www.leviticus11.com/splmts.htm Check out this experiment that the navy did with rats (no, I don't have a link to the source, write Mike or Diane and ask them if you would like to see it, though they may not have it either): http://www.leviticus11.com/dl.htm
