Guest guest
Halime, coconut oil is used to get healthier, not so much for a specific ailment. If it was used for a specific ailment or claimed to be used as such, it would become a drug as far as the FDA is concerned, and shipments by the company would be stopped pending approval of the health claims. I think it's OK to state nutritional content and the fatty acid properties though. all good, Duncan > > Hi Everyone! > We just got on the coconut oil bandwagon. I am new to all of this and am ordering books but until I get them shipped I would like to ask how much coconut oil should we consume? > Does it matter if you're taking it for a specific ailment or just to get healthier? > > Thanks so much! > > Halime >
Guest guest
I USE ORGANIC COCONUT OIL AND I CONSUME 3 TABLESPOONS PER DAY I ADD IT TO HOT SOUPS AND HOT BEVERAGES. YOU SEE A DIFFERENCE AND YOU FEEL A DIFFERENCE RIGHT AWAY. > > > > Hi Everyone! > > We just got on the coconut oil bandwagon. Guest guest
I agree with the figure of 3 tbsp as verging on a maximum. My wife and I use more fat than that but we are using milk fat. Those who use cream and butter are known to have better skin than those who don't. Skin condition is a useful marker for overall health. I'd use coconut oil in addition rather than as a replacement for milk fat because milk fat has some important nutrients that aren't in cococnut oil. all good, Duncan > > I USE ORGANIC COCONUT OIL AND I CONSUME 3 TABLESPOONS PER DAY I ADD IT TO HOT SOUPS AND HOT BEVERAGES.
