Guest guest
Yes for most people but not every-one..Sorry Folks I have to disagree with this one. My first 3 hips on the left, were by far worse than the knee I had replaced, all done posterior, obviously the approach makes a difference.... however the 4th hip replacement was the best replacement I have had so far. Its different for every -one. And shoulders again are worse than a knee and hip put together. -- Re: [Norton AntiSpam] 2 WEEKS LEFT Any hip replacement is much easier to recover from than any knee replacement For most people, there is almost no pain after a hip replacement - there is surgical discomfort but the joint itself is pain free. Recovery from knee surgery is much harder and more painful. Anterior hip replacement does provide a much easier recovery than the traditional posterior approach. That's because there are virtually no restrictions after surgery and since no muscles are cut, one is ahead of the game so to speak in terms of getting back to full mobility. ------------------------------------
