Guest guest
I am finding thw whole taste issue interesting... Our 'taste' has been cultivated by the restaurants and fast food industry as well as the foods commercially produced and sold in grocery stores... I take herbal tinctures and many finsd those to be horrible tasting... My 'taste' has been changed and i actually like many of the herbs I take... I take the MSM in tablet form and I half way chew it in my mouth before swallowing... and it is admitted not great tasting by the above mentioned standards...but just fine for me... then again,  I do feel my tastes have changed / morphed into liking what is good for my body... after taking the MSM, I just take some rose hip tincture which is good to my taste as well... My point is we can cultivate our tastes in another direction as well... we are in charge of our tastes... I made some very low sugar jams this year and they are great! d From: Tanstaafl <tanstaafl@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Monday, September 19, 2011 7:38 AM Subject: Re: Re: Organic Sulfur and Your Health  On 2011-09-17 9:22 PM, elaine1231 <elaine1231@...> wrote: > Wanted to ask you... It isn't just about the flakes being preferred, it is about purity - the others containing fillers/binders that are not desirable - and efficacy - taking the flakes and swishing it around in the mouth allows virtually *all* of the MSM to be absorbed directly into the system, bypassing the digestive system (thereby avoiding any potential problems that large doses of MSM can cause some people in the digestive tract). > Plus I take colostrum, whey, amino acids and it is difficult to fit > in another poor tasting powder. 'Poor tasting'?? My whey and colostrum taste great, so if yours taste bad, maybe you are using bad brands? Or maybe you just have 'picky' taste buds... Anyway, taking the MSM the way huuman recommends you can hardly taste it at all, just like when you eat/drink something and 'hold your nose' at the same time - although you have to get the hang of it. > Anyway my issue - I have a bad headache from bottom of neck to > forehead and fairly extreme malaise some dizziness muscle aches > -similar to flu like symptoms. I do know I am taking 30-40 grams per day, and have *no* side effects.
Guest guest
Taste: Its really just a matter of acquiring a taste for something, be it sweet, sour, bitter, etc... You can even get used to the bitter taste of MSM and grow to like it. Recent research has said that we acquire our likes in the womb. Whatever mom ate, we tend to like, so if your mom chugged down the sodas, chips, and candy while carrying you, so will you. Regarding the MSM, place it under the tongue and leave it there for awhile, then drink some water and swallow it down. ________________________________ From: Don <hooty304@...> " Coconut Oil " <Coconut Oil > Sent: Mon, September 19, 2011 10:47:35 AM Subject: Re: ~ the taste issue ~ Re: Organic Sulfur and Your Health I am finding thw whole taste issue interesting... Then, after a 33 day water-only fast (a long time ago, yes I know the dangers of long term fasting), after I started eating normal foods again, I found I loved them. I also pretty much lost all desire for sugary sweet junk (candy, cakes, etc)...
Guest guest
Hi : Don't leave out the, " swish it around in your mouth till the taste goes away " . This is important. Guest guest
Hi All: Tans has the correct answer here.... By the way: If you have not yet watched the Dr. Seneff/ Mercola video on Organic Sulfates yet, you are depriving your body of valuable information. I have come to believe that this information will lead to a whole new area of wholistic health awareness that exceeds all previous ones and leaves the Vit D3 craze in the dust. And Undenatured Whey is a part of it along with MSM. It is just getting too good. Cheers, Jim On 2011-09-20 6:26 AM, Cody <lecody2001@... <mailto:lecody2001%40>> wrote: > I am just now getting around to that part.. have to build up to these > things... but the taste is becoming more familar. Maybe you have missed what I have said in the past... If you do it right, you *will* *not* *taste* *it*, except for just a tiny little bit... I swish it until the 'cool' feeling goes away, because I can't go by taste - because I can't taste it. You simply clamp down on the hole in the back of your mouth t hat connects your sinuses, and it is just like you were holding your nose - no taste.
