Black cohosh did wonders for my wife's hot flashes... she bought something called 'Estroven' at the drug store (non prescrip), but its main ingredient is black cohosh. She swears by it. Or is this one of the topical cremes you can buy? Also, is this all she takes, or does she also take the hormones themselves (patch or oral)? My wife just started the patch, but I want her to try the cremes first: http://www.naturallybetter.net/1hormone_balance.html
Guest guest
I know you were asking about relief, but reversal of the symptoms of aging is an option for awhile too. While on anti-aging therapy that included HGH level maintenance, several women I know eliminated the hot flashes they'd been experiencing for up to eight years, and two who had been menopausal for a year started to menstruate regularly again as well. This is also seen with the same therapy in pets and livestock, with some animals behaving more youthfully and breeding again after they had stopped. Low HGH/IGF-1 imbalances the sex hormones and this causes a reaction, while youthful levels restore and balance as the glands and organs heal. This is useful to know because even the kidney, which usually succumbs to renal failure, the most comon " natural " cause of death in the elderly, regains size and function on the HGH program. Cardiac size and function even after a heart attack can recover as well, probably other organs will too. SomaLife gHP, an amino acid stack that triggers natural HGH release, was what my clients were using when they reduced their hot flashes. None were taking HGH, or Black Cohosh, or Damiana. There's quite a bit of content on my site, which Gooogle ranks at #1 in a search on HGH references. all good, Duncan > > Ok, so my mom is just shy of 60 and has been going through some rough > hot flashes ...is there anyone else who's successfully helped quell hot flashes > with a more natural diet/cure? > > Does anyone have any insights to share? > > yg >
Guest guest
No patch or oral intake of hormones. She tried the creams for a while at first, but for some reason, she discontinued them. (Sorry, " HRT SUPPLEMENTATION: " was supposed to be like a sub-heading followed by the individual herbs below it.) Only oral intake of the regiment as I mentioned earlier, along with Yoga, Breathing Techniques and Chakra balancing. I must say that we're both on Nutriteck un-denatured whey powder 3 doses daily, Progressive Nutritional's Prebiotic and Probiotic Program, 3-4 T EVCO daily, MgCl transdermal 2-3 times weekly, weekly Reiki sessions (give and receive), Meditation - binaural sounds combined with visualization, conscious breathing, mantra chanting, " beyond binaurals' subliminal targeted programming. The above " wellness cocktail " , has a very profound effect on both of us. And her menopause symptoms are almost non-existent. We never take any meds what-so-ever, other than homeopathic remedies, extremely rarely. I keep a homeopathic pharmacy kit at home consisting of 50 of the most common remedies, At the super-market we purchase 99% single ingredient food items - organic when available- and prepare all our meals from scratch using only EVCO for cooking. I love to make my own spice blends, from whole spices, that I use in my recipes. And this contributes to great taste and health, as well.
