Guest guest Posted April 11, 2011 Report Share Posted April 11, 2011 Ok, so my mom is just shy of 60 and has been going through some rough hot flashes for menopause for the last several years. She's on dial up so I figured I'd help her out a bit and do some research for her. She currently takes 1 tbsp of coconut oil a day, I think she could stand to take a little more and possibly help normalize her hormones, but is there anyone else who's successfully helped quell hot flashes with a more natural diet/cure? The previous posts on this list don't mention hot flashes much, except for a post or 2 about using Progesterone skin cream. But they don't mention where to put, how it works, or even if it worked at all, or where to get it. I'm sure the hot flashes could be related to overall diet, but she eats a lot of vegetables, fish, and stays away from processed foods.
